Warriors Waive Will Bynum

The Warriors cut NBDL superstar Will Bynum today. Bynum latched on to the Warriors near the end of last season when Baron went down and the point guard depth on the roster was lacking.

This kid's got amazing ups and the talent's obviously there. The waive was simply a matter of trimming down the roster and getting out of a non-guaranteed contract. Bynum's got a future in this league. No doubt. We all wish him the best.

We'll miss Air Bynum.

What kind of NBA career do you predict Will Bynum will have?

He'll become an all-star and average 30 ppg against the Warriors.

If I wanted to bet big on a hunch, I'd circle Al Harrington's name in bright ink and prophesy a Warriors news conference by the middle of this week.

W's haven't done jack this summer
What a disappointing and quite boring as a matter of fact offseason for the Warriors!

Mully may be burning up the phones but things are looking pretty status quo from this end of the line.

Bynum will head to SAC and backup Bibby!
This whole off-season has been overhyped! Our team NEEDS CHANGES yet NOTHING HAS HAPPENED other than the Derek Fisher Salary Dump. Make my day and dump dunleavy for an expiring contract or trade Adonal Foyle. We need some new faces in this organization. We all thought Harrington was going to be coming over but our chances are probably down to .01% now that Indiana has that huge trade exception. Even though Iverson may not be the peice we need. I think we're better off trying to obtain him so we can atleast say we did something this summer rather than sit pat and reminisce of what could of been....lolz

Best case upside
Derek Fisher. I'm thinking he'll do the latch around for 30 or so games a season deal, perhaps even play a full year once or twice, bounce around with a few teams kinda career. Worst case would be that we never see him again the NBA.

Bynum will end up like Rafer Alston...
Bynum is probably headed in the same path as a former warrior, Rafer Alston. He'll blossom if he's given the chance. But just like Alston, his shooting will be his downfall.

I'm so mad!
Honestly I loved Bynum and Ellis on the floor together last year! we should have kept him!

WB
I liked Bynum too.  Maybe they're making room for Tyrone Lue or Anthony Johnson as part of a deal.  Or maybe they just think he sucks.

Shame...
Bynum will end up an all star. Why? Because when was the last move the warriors made that wasn't a disasterous mistake? Why not cut Foyle instead? Sigh....
The Bimbo Coles era has BEGUN!!!
