HOT or NOT? : Nike LeBron IV's in Black

The famous Nike Air Jordan line runs 21 deep with some of the flyest kicks of all time. Nike has been desperately trying to push LeBron James as the marketing successor to Michael "Air" Jordan with the heavily hyped L23/ King James shoe and clothing line. In trying to push a rugged, light, swingman shoe, Nike has had some fairly awkward designs. Here's a review of the first three Nike LeBron's (photos: PickYourShoes.com):

LeBron I's: Nike Zoom Generation

At least these Hummer-inspired kicks don't guzzle gas.

Nike Zoom LeBron II

These look too heavy to be part of the Zoom line.

Nike Zoom LeBron III

  Just a very strange design.

Thanks to Sole Redemption here's a sneak peak at the unreleased Nike LeBron IV's in Black:

The Zoom Lebron 2's were great shoes.
Laser detailed upper, zoom air in the heel and forefoot for active guards, bulletproof styling, and the inner mesh is also very breathable and comfortable.

The shoe also has great traction and is super durable to withstand indoor as well as tough blacktop outdoor play.

The III's are the heaviest of the line actually.

Previews on the nike.com designer blogs with red/white/black colorways look much better and show nice signature details of the shoe such as WITNESS running down the carbon fiber of the heel counter. The all black ones there are noted as being "Darth Vaders" compared to some all white ones being "Stormtroopers." Don't ask me though, I didn't nick them.

Its also rumored to have the Foamposite tech also which hasn't been around in a while. Most notably being on the Penny Foamposite 1's. The foam molds to your feet for tons of support.

Hot! Don't sleep!

Thanks!
Man, you def got your ear to the street in the kicks scene! The Lebron IV's look much better in the colorway you posted. When I first saw them I thought Penny Foamposite's too.

back2back51s- always feel free to drop the latest on the kicks in the Community Discussion (diaries). Pictures, your own HOT or NOT's- whatever you want. It's all good.

Not bad
The black looked awful.  The red/black/white was much better so that you could really see the details.
