Fisher Free Throws
Even though they traded him, Derek Fisher is still the Warriors' best free throw shooter. At least the Warriors seem to think so. This image advertising the Free Throw Fridays contest is up on Warriors.com right now:

Are these really tryouts to play for the Warriors?
I'm not sure if this is an error or if this is intentional. I mean take a look at some of the god-awful free throw shooting on display at the Arena last season:
- Andris Biendrins: 30.6% (yup, you read that correctly)
- Zarko Cabarkapa: 71.4% (a 10% drop from the previous season)
- Baron Davis: 67.5% (that hurts)
- Ike Diogu: 81% (it puzzles me why Monty didn't play him more last season- he's a high % scorer)
- Mike Dunleavy: 77.8% (this just might be the strongest part of his game)
- Monta Ellis: 71.2% (fine for a rook)
- Adonal Foyle: 61.2% (admit it- this is higher than you expected)
- Troy Murphy: 78.7% (not bad)
- Mickael Pietrus: 60.8% (what's a mid-range game?)
- Jason Richardson: 67.3% (if he can bump this up he'll be an elite scorer)
Now that Fish is gone who do you think will be the Warriors' best free throw shooter next season? And no- Thunder and Chris Mullin don't count.
(Why is this article in the Humor section? Well, like DJ Fuzzy Logic always says when it comes to the Warriors- "laughing keeps us from crying." Man, there's a reason why they're called FREE throws.)

Ike is the best
Off topic but are we gonna do a fantasy bball league? I won last year and I need to defend my crown.

Great job if you can get it
I'll bet Monta leads the team. I see a guy who wants to prove a lot of people wrong.
Under Nellie FT% and fitness will go along way to establishing the starting line up: Make your shots and get back on team defense.

Keith McLeod and Devin Brown
if the other team needs to foul on purpose, we could throw out 5 good FT shooters in that situation:
McLeod 80%
Brown 77%
Dunleavy 77%
Ike 81%
Murphy 79%

Awesome re-use of resources
Fisher will shoot free throws from WAAAY downtown in Salt Lake City!
This calls for an update to his sneaks, maybe call them Air Max Express(overnight mail)!
But if we can grab Rick Barry (who isn't too busy at the moment without his KNBR show correct?) to free throw coach the squad, everyone should have a career year.
Make it happen Don Nelson!
