Warriors Bringing Patrick O'Bryant Back to the NBA
|
As a reward for his recent "fabulous play" in the NBDL (see More Notorious[ly bad] POB NBDL stats by EternalWarriorsOptimist and Notorious POB NBDL stat tracker by OaktownFunk), the Warriors are bringing Patrick O'Bryant back up to the major leagues. GSoM friend Janny Hu has the details as well as some injury updates on JRich, Mickael Pietrus, Keith McLeod, and Adonal Foyle. |
![]() POB has struggled a little bit against these top-notch NBDL Centers. |
What kind of numbers are you predicting from POB tomorrow night against the Paper Clips?
I'm going all out and predicting he stuns us all with a double-double. No-No-Notorious!

anyone else think...
I'm sure there are rules about a player having to be on an NBA roster (as opposed to being on a D-League roster) before he can be traded as well...

I'm with Bimbo
Well anyway, if the above is true--and we've seen the stats, so we have no reason to believe it's not--then this call-up is Mully all the way. POB might not be called on as an extra body on the court, but an extra piece in a trade. Anybody else anticipating something to go down after tomorrow night's game? (It sure wasn't gonna go down BEFORE this back-to-back matchup.)

O'Bryant isn't being brought up for the Clippers..
He's headed to the game tomorrow specifically to scout O'Bryant. There haven't been trade talks or anything, so don't get your hopes up. He said that the Warriors brought him up because they needed the body and there are at least three or four teams that will be at STAPLES tomorrow to give him a look.

My Predictions for POB
- He continues to rebound and block shots at an above average pace.
- He hits his FT's at an 85% clip
- He's 7 ft tall
- He's still a rookie.
