Warriors Bring Up Renaldo Major from NBDL
Short on bodies, Don Nelson and the Warriors have brought up Renaldo Major of the Dakota Wizards from the NBDL. Let's hope Nellie can work some more of his NBDL magic. Jonathan Givony has a nice scouting report on Major for DraftExpress:
Major is a 6-7 swingman with good athletic ability and very nice scoring instincts from inside the 3-point arc. He's 24 years old, and seems to have improved rapidly from his collegiate days at Fresno State, where he only averaged 10.7 points per game in a senior year that was cut short by a season-ending suspension. He ironically was cut once by the D-League already, and has spent time in both the USBL and CBA. This year he's averaging 18 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists on 54% shooting from the field playing with the Dakota Wizards. A true "rags to riches" story, the kind that makes the D-League special.

Renaldo's got major game.
Any bets Nellie starts journeyman Matt Barnes with NBDLer's Kelenna Azubuike, Renaldo Major, and Patrick O'Bryant tonight against the Clips? (Isn't it sad that the Warriors' lottery pick is now an NBDL callup?)

Let's Go Oakland! Gas, Brake, Dip.
W's - Indy trade
We dump Murph AND Dunleavy, Diogu and McCloud.
A great deal. Harrington, Jackson and Powell are instant offense and toughness, that's right the W's now have toughness!! and Sarunas 2.0 is a Nellie type player.
Trade will be announced 2 morrow.
I'm pumped!! As Ric Flair would say: Whoooooooo!!

well, what do you know...
15 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 4/7 fg, 7/8 ft
Mike Schmidt
Brown displayed the ability to score out of the post with a couple different moves today. He possesses nice footwork inside, and the ability to wait for the right opportunity to score. Because he is so patient inside, Brown makes it to the free throw line with consistency. Today, he made it to the charity stripe 8 times, and converted 7 of his attempts. He knows how the use his weight on the defensive end as well, and his ability to push people around is used very effectively on the glass. In terms of size, post scoring, and rebounding, there are few comparable players outside of the NBA. Though Brown weighs less than he used to, he still carries some extra pounds, and would definitely benefit from some muscle tone. He also turns the ball over too often at this point, and that's largely due to the fact that he rarely passes the ball out of the post once he receives an entry pass. Brown has struggled a bit with consistency this season, but is definitely in the mix for a call-up to a team looking for a post scorer.
Here's a link to entire recap..pretty good stuff.

Sounds like an Ike Diogu replacement
He just has to get on Nellie's good side and limit those turnovers.
