Who was your favorite warrior to hate and just favorite ex-warrior?
I mean we had some real good/ awful players that we loved at one point. I personally liked Joe Smith for the simple fact that he was the draft pick the first year I really got into the warriors and basketball. I had his Jersey, rookie cards and autograph. I knew nothing about the game then except that he was supposed to be a real good player. I mean he was selected #1 overall....ummm, and then even at the young age of 12 I knew he wasn't that good, but I still liked the guy any way. I guess I was hoping for him to turn out great. They had this one game I went to where they had like 12 guys that lived in the bay area all named Joe Smith and they would individual name all of them and they would come out. They couldn't just say Joe Smith once and had them all raise their hand, they had to waste time because that was the half time show. Oh, and they all got some kind of certificate because that was there name...Lame! Anyway, Memories from the past are always fun. I also liked Chris Porter for his hustle and his hair, whatever happened to him? Is he in jail or something? Obviously, hands down, DUN DUN was my favorite player to hate! We all know the stories, he just sucked 3/4th of the time he was here. My dad, who is 60 even hates on him and called him Donnothin.....Here are a few of our old players that ruled if you wanna look them over!
Gilbert Arenas, Victor Alexander,Muggsy Bogues, Manute Bol,Earl Boykins,Speedy Claxton,Bimbo Coles,Erick Dampier,Dale Davis,Tony Delk, Ike Diogu,Mike Dunleavy,Derek Fisher,Danny Fortson,Chris Gatling,Tom Gugliotta,Tim Hardaway,Rod Higgins,Tyrone Hill,Larry Hughes,Antawn Jamison,Damon Jones,Sarunas Marciulionis,Donyell Marshall,Chris Mullin,Troy Murphy,Eduardo Nájera,Billy Owens,Chris Porter,Mitch Richmond,Cliff Robinson,Rony Seikaly,Joe Smith,Latrell Sprewell,John Starks,Bobby Sura,Tom Tolbert,Nick Van Exel,Chris Webber and David Wood
I wanna hear some great stories!

Tyrone Hill
I think Dunleavy is really the only Warrior in the last 15 years I didn't like. Basically for all of the reasons ever stated by everyone in the history of the internet.

My fav
Favorite warrior to hate? A tie between Dunnada and Spree.

Let's Go Oakland! Gas, Brake, Dip.
Stone-hands
Fav Warrior: Mr. Jason Richardson. Arenas was a flash in the pan and BDiddy has been a little inconsistent since he came aboard, but Jason's been our rock for years. Timmy and Mully were great no doubt, but JR is the epitome of a Warrior.
I've noticed...

If you take a look out of your windows, you can now see Dallas, TX. Quite the site, no?

Warrior(s) I hated the most
Favorite and least favorite
Todd Fuller would be the least. (Mainly because of who we could have drafted)Oh and by the way, he sucked big time

hmm...
Favorite Warrior of all time? Tim Hardaway. The NBA probably commissioned a league ankle doctor for all the ankles broken by Tim Hardaway.
Favorite Warriors
In my teens: Sleepy, Mullin, Hardaway, Richmond
In my 20s: Chris Webber
In my 30s: Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson
As I approach the big 4-0: Monta, Biedrins .... and Kevin Durant?
Least faves: Todd Fuller, Carlos Rogers, Cliff Rozier, Tom Gugliotta, Rony Seikaly, Chris Mills, Mark Price, Mike Dunleavy.
DURANT!

hmmm
favorite former warrior: brian cardinal (you know you liked him)
favorite warrior to hate: dunleavy
Here!
And Sleepy, if I may ask, why is Mark Price your least favourite Warrior? He is close to my favourite of all-time! (Keep in mind, I've never seen him in an actual game from that era except once in some Allen Iverson Highlights where he got it stolen from him....He just always scored the most on the Warriors when I played video games.)
the Chris Mullin Show!
Keither Jennings! ahh, the post-Mugsy, pre-Boykins short guy
Least favorite: Alton Lister
(not just because he was old, ugly and bald on the top, but because Shawn Kemp dunked on him in on of our last playoff appearances and we got eliminated because it was a blocking foul and Kemp pointed at him tauntingly...it's the best facial ever since I watch it on those old NBA highlight tapes...but it still brings a shiver down my spine...oh yeah and Gatling fouled him too on a dunk before that when he just grabbed him waist and let him yak all over the team and hang on the rim on an alley oop from Payton...ok, enough of the flashbacks...)
oh yeah, and Byron Houston was a waste of cap space too...damn there's too many
...never a fairweather fan...

Blasts From The Past
Hated Robert Parrish as a Warrior, and naturally even more as a Celtic, since he finally decided to learn how to play well once he got there. Jim Peterson was a doof--he only played because Nellie had no one else to play center, and then the guy talked smack about outlasting some great centers in the playoffs (back when the W's would upset someone in the first round and then get their ass handed to them in the second).

Paul McPherson & Sam Jacobsen
Sam Jacobsen was with us around the same time. A white guy who could sky (higher than Sura and without the frosted tips).

well
not so favorites: bobby sura, bimbo coles, FORTSON, Dunleavy,

Anybody remember these cats?
Peter Verhoeven (this guy used to come off the bench with this weird 70s mustache and his skin would turn lobster red after a minute on the court. How fun!)
Chuck Alexsinas (he had perhaps the worst nickname in history: The UCONN Mannequin. Was like having a pro wrestler on the team)
Ben McDonald (How many Irvine Anteaters made the NBA?)
My Least Favs: Chris Webber (helped detroy the Warriors org for years, Spreweell (see Webber comment), Eric Dampier (The most expressionless NBA player in history), Tom Gugliota (What was his deal? Great before the Warrors, great after, horrible during)

Can't believe no one's saying
Second least favorite: Danny Fortson.
Favorite Ex-Warriors: The Wizards, Gilbert and Antawn. Although its painful to watch the Wiz and not be frustrated by bad past decisions.
