Top 10 Reasons Boom Dizzle Should Be an All Star
Looks like a little birdie's been mailing out flyers hyping up Warrior point guard Baron Davis:

Shout out to Lang Whitaker of the world famous Slam magazine for spreading the word about this flyer.

Last time BD was an All Star he was reppin' the East.
Now it's time for him to throw up a W and represent the Warriors for the West.
Drop Reason #11 why Baron Davis should be an All Star this year.
Here's mine: BD is the only Warrior player to get a Top of the Line grade on the GSoM midterm report card for the 2006-2007 season.

Phoenix Suns - Steve Nash - the aforementioned.
Los Angeles Lakers - Smush Parker - ummmmm, no.
Sacramento Kings - Mike Bibby - Ok, maybe as good as Baron....if he was playing like he did 5 years ago.
Los Angeles Clippers - Sam Cassell - ET? heeelllll no!
Dallas Mavericks - Jason Terry/Devin Harris - good, but not stars.
San Antonio Spurs - Tony Parker - Very solid player, but having manu Ginobli and Tim Duncan helps....not the defender, passer, or rebounder that Boom Daddy is.
Houston Rockets - Rafer Alston - isn't that their PG? I can't even remember. Maybe it's Luther Head. I forget.
New Orleans Hornets - Chris Paul - great PG. hurt most of the season.
Memphis Grizzlies - Damon Stoudamire - He's getting better.
Utah Jazz - Deron Williams - Great young kid. but still doesn't have the rebounding or defensive prowess of Baron.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Ricky Davis - Need I say more? is that even their PG? Or is it that other dude?
Denver Nuggets - Allen Iverson? Kinda maybe sorta? ok I kinda forgot about him, but he's still a shooting guard who often brings the ball up. in fact, I think Steve Blake might be their starting PG.
Portland TrailBlazers - Jarret Jack - Oh dang. be afraid, Baron. be very afraid.
Seattle SuperSonics - Luke Ridnour - He has some really nice passes, now and then.
And there you have it. Baron should be an all-star.
BD
there's no rule that two point guards, (or even one) is needed. Just 4 guards are needed. After the starters (Kobe and T-Mac), Nash and Iverson would certainly be selected ahead of BD. There are 2 reserve spots for any position (actually 3 with Yao being out) but it will be extremely tough for BD to beat out Tony Parker, Manu, and Josh Howard since these guys play for winning teams (not to mention Carmelo, Elton Brand, Ray Allen, Chris Paul...)
By the way I wish Ricky Davis was the starting pg for Minny, it'd help our playoff chances...

#12: Has been named the hardest player to guard by Shooting Guard Dwyane Wade. He made this statement during an interview on BET in which he was asked several questions about his NBA Career.
Got those from Wikipedia.
I rag on ET
If he and Charlie V teamed up
We went over this a little while ago:

Said my piece there. Won't debate it again with Zig or anyone else unless he writes out some valid points/reasons, which I encourage him to do if he doesn't like Baron/doesn't believe he should be an All Star.

No
Baron needs all the rest he could get. Do you want an overworked Baron for the second-half of this season, or one who gets a little 'juiced up' because a) he missed the all-star and has a chip on his shoulder and; b) he actually rested during all-star weekend?
All-star game is meaning-less, anyway.
