But You're Not a Fool... Are You?
Here's what Baron Davis had to say after last night's blowout loss to the Clevelands Cavs minus that LeBron fellow (from SFGate):
"We've got the worst road record of any team in the NBA, so who are we fooling, man? Who are we fooling?" Davis said of the Warriors' postseason hopes. "How are we going to be a playoff team (when) we can't win on the road?
"We're fooling ourselves."
People have got to get serious about winning, that's all. We've got some guys that don't know how to prepare for games and it shows in their play," said Davis, who led the Warriors with 21 points and eight assists, but went 1-for-7 from three-point range.
"I mean, it's shocking that we get beat like that and LeBron is out. We talked about it this morning and before the game that they were going to come out and play with a lot of hustle and passion.
"It's like it's falling on deaf ears."

This young Cavs fan is NOT a fool.

BD didn't name names, but any guesses about who he's referring to when he says there are some guys who don't know how to prepare for games?

I only watched the last 6 mins of the game
- Harrington (4-12 on the floor???)
- Jax (but I heard he had the flu so probably not him)
- Foyle (one friggin rebound??!!?!)
- Monta (3-10 shooting???)
- himself (7-18 and 1-7 from the 3 ain't gonna cut it)
- MP (need I say more?)
- Barnes (for not rebounding)

My votes are for
There is no reason Ellis and Pietrus should be outplayed--EVER--by Daniel Gibson and David Wesley.
Also, Wesley had 5 rebounds in 25 minutes???

Wowwww
Well, it's shocking to see BD call someone out, but I have a very strong gut feeling that he's referring to Pietrus.
I feel bad cuz we luv MP, he's a fan favorite and has energy... well... used to, but lately, he is stinkin it up! It's like after the trade he must realize that he's the new weak link and is not stepping up. Can't shoot FT's, can't make anything inside the key to save his life, and is relying too much on that outside corner 3.
This is unfortunate since he needs to be signed this summer. Also, his stock value is declining. Geez, we'll see what happens the next 3 games.

It ain't EASY, stoppin' TOO EASY

This is a problem
Something is obviously more wrong than usual, given Baron's quotes. Generally BD takes the blame if someone else misses a shot. He's not one to distribute blame, so something is wrong. LET'S SEE SOME HUSTLE, DUBS!!!

I think....
He looked lost last night. Hopefully he'll pick it up the next game. And get smarter.

Yeah Pietrus
Who knows how many of these Warriors partied too hard after a lopsided win, didn't warm up or took the win too seriously. Nellie does so lets see who gets minutes next game.
I could see this loss coming a mile away. This franchise does not know what it takes to win games and when they do win, they act like it's a big deal and everythings been fixed.
Kudos to BD for talking like a team leader.

I guess.....
They should start driving and draw fouls when they start shooting badly, and not just settling for 3's.

I am never surprised by crap like this on the road
Clutch shots on the road? Forget about it. Big rebound? Good luck finding that. Big Defensive stop? The oppossing team will ALWAYS make a big basket when they need to.
The sad thing is that every Warrior fan knows this is the case, regardless of how optimistic we are.

People have got to get serious about winning
Isn't this the coaches job to motivate and design the plan for each game?
I only was able to watch the first half last night then I had an appointment but what I remember was a lot of turnovers on poor passes and a lot of the Cavs working thru their big Zman? Why were we throwing the ball away so much? and why don't we have a bigman who can counter the big opposition?
Baron might be able to fix the sloppy play by leaning on guys but he won't be able to fix the bigman problem by himself. Maybe they should make Baron the general manager and let him make it all well?
Thanks, Baron for trying to stop the bleeding I appreciate it man but I hope you aren't just setting yourself up for more dissappointment, one man can't win ball games no matter how much you want it.

ZU
Also, i think MP is a bonehead. He makes awful decisions and his D isn't even remotely close to "lockdown" anymore. It's had a serious drop off ever since he started getting increased minutes last season. And since his shot is so inconsistent, he's basically useless out there.
I really hope we don't waste money re-signing him this offseason.

He's got to be talking about
Pietrus always kind of seems like he's mentally somewhere else. He did actually make some free throws, which was a surprise, but he hasn't been stepping up the way he should, especially on defense. Which Jackson and Harrington in the lineup, Pietrus is the 5th option for offense, but he ABSOLUTELY needs to get rebounds and PLAY D!
Foyle is taking everything too lightly this season (sorry Zorgon). Has anyone ever watched him during shootarounds before a game at the Arena? He's usually passing the ball to fans, eating popcorn with 8 year olds in the stands, and shooting corner 3's. With the money we're paying him at least he can ACT like a professional, even if he doesn't play like one.

haha
No team is gonna make the playoffs unless they can win on the road. The warriors just suck.
Their performance the past two games is like they were playing with murphleavy again.
