2K7 Warriors Media Day: More Alternate Jerseys

Just getting around to writing up my experience at the Warriors Media Day. One of the cool things I saw, new jerseys. Similar style to "The City" jerseys, but with the GSoM CA outline and throwing it back to some of the older styles. All they need to do is throw a lightning bolt on there. These look pretty fly. Thumbs up.

And damn, Baron looks skinnier doesn't he? He's more cut. I can see him flying down the court. Dropping some of that weight will hopefully keep him injury free this year. Fingers crossed...

HUGE thumbs up
To the new unis! Superfly. Man, I wish they would wear those every damn game. Blue on the road, yellow at home, mix in THE CITY for special occasions, call it a day.

As for Baron and TMNTH, supertrainer Joe Abunassar echoed people's impressions in today's interview on warriorsworld, net:

On Baron Davis:

Baron Davis is looking great. He did a good amount of traveling during the later part of the summer after spending a lot of time with us in Vegas, but Rico Hines, a great friend of mine and a great coach and trainer, spends a lot of time working with Baron in the off-season, and has been with him on the travel, so I am sure he has maintained his form and is ready for a great season.

On Al Harrington:

Harrington also looks great. Al is one of my long-time clients, a great friend, and actually the god-father of my 6 year old, Jack. He is a warrior in many ways - no one works harder than Al and no one has a better focus and intensity to improve his game. We spend a lot of time getting Al fit and in shape this summer and making sure he can run with his teammates. We also spent a lot of time getting Al back to being sharp and very difficult to guard on the mid-post - which is an area I think he is very, very tough to defend in. His shooting looks solid s I am sure he will fire up some 3's this season in the Warriors offense. Al's looking to have a great year and help GS back to the playoffs and going even further.

Harrington really does look trimmed down -- dare I say, like a "small" forward? My plan to make Harrington/Lasme the starting forward tandem remains intact. Let's get this party started!

Skinny Al
Hopefully this will improve his ability to finish around the basket.

If he is quick enough  at his new weight I would feel much more comfortable seeing him at SF than last year.

Wow
Harrington actually looks younger, you can really see the weight loss in his face. Baron looks great too. Can't wait for the season to start, I'm jazzed that the LA pre-season game will be telivised.

Are those the new jerseys
for the year?

I like them too.  I am now hard pressed.  Should I get a early 90's Mullin jersey or a new one???

Anyone ever see the old school SF warriors gear with the headdress?

the players worse them last year on their ADIDAS sweatgear but I have never seem them retail
