About.com's 2007-2008 NBA Team Previews

It's time for another 2007-2008 NBA preview party hosted by our man Dennis Velasco over at About.com. Dennis assembled a cast of very knowledgeable NBA junkies to preview all 30 teams in the association. Somehow I managed to make the cut... and I didn't even have to bribe the man this time around!

Like Master P when it comes to hoops,
I'm 'BOUT IT 'BOUT IT!

Check out some of my thoughts on the upcoming Warriors' season as well as these other previews:

How the West will be won...

Pacific Division

Northwest Division

Southwest Division

Over in the East...

Atlantic Division

Central Division

Southeast Division

Who's your sleeper team for this season? Which team do you think is in for the biggest disapointment a la last year's Dallas Mavericks?

Good work, Atma
Not just on your article for Yahoo (and your points are all well taken), but for your wonderful work on this site.  Thanks.

I have to admit
I actually had to submit that preview for About.com 2+ months ago if I remember correctly. One glaring omission from my analysis is Kelenna Azubuike.

If I had to write it now, I'd really throw some more hype Kelenna's way. Maybe I'm getting carried away but I see MIP honors for the man. He's so solid, built like a rock, and hard working. If Nellie can light a fire under him and help give him that JRich intensity, Kelenna could BLOW UP this season.

More on the NBA Hardware this Sunday...

makes it all the more impressive, bro.

It's funny, that would have been my one criticism, was that you didn't mention Buike in the "what has to go right for the Warriors to successful" section.  When you put it in the context of a Matt Barnes breakout season, Buike is the best bet to do that.  But, of course, 2 + months ago was before the pre-season shed more light on how he's improved.  Also, player personelle has played out since then, in the rookie dept.  It now looks like none of the rooks, including Belinelli, will have much of an impact, at least at the beginning of the season.  And Hudson looks to play more than we would have then guessed.
