Monta out tonight?

They might have to do so without guard Monta Ellis, who suffered a strained left thigh during the second half and is questionable for tonight's game against the Trail Blazers.

I'm trying to remember when this might have occured. Monta has been struggling a little bit as of late. In fact, he hardly played last night. Do we need to be worried?

He took a knee to the left thigh
while he was going through the lane and then he hit the floor. I think it was Bonner. I wouldn't be surprised if that spot tightened up a bit, charlie horse style, though I'm not totally sure that constitutes a "strain" but I think if they aren't sure what it is, they call it a "strain."

that's the only thing I can recall happening, but it was that exact spot.

Left hand, right hand, it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious.

Buck up Monta
You're 21 dude, get up and play.  A Charley Horse is gonna keep you out of a interdivisional mega match up?  Play Monta, Play!

any news if he's playing friday?
hopefully he plays friday... the warriors needed another spark plug... and didn't have anything at the end.  Don Nelson put in Belinelli, makes no sense to me (but I was happy to see him go in), but the team could have used Ellis to fuel the fast break on his own and make shots for everyone a lot easier.  Jackson got so many shots last night, too many.
