Vegas Odds Golden State favored by 4 pts (souce: vegasinsider.com)

Just when you think you have it made in the shade, it can all get ripped out from underneath you.

Honestly, I truly hope this is the attitude that our boys approach tonight's game with. Seattle isn't exactly a red hot team, but as I've said before, there simply is no such thing as a "gimme" with the Warriors. In order to establish ourselves as a premiere team, we need to be able to deal with teams like Seattle quickly and efficiently. We can't waste opportunities to chalk up points in the W column. (shameless plug.)

That being said, we have a lot of things on our side as we step into Key Arena tonight. Seattle has seemed to develop an allergy to winning at home. So far this season, they've only won one game in front of their home crowd; against Murph-leavy and the rest of the Pacers.

In addition to that, I have to believe that the Warriors' confidence is at an all time high. Convincing victories over both Phoenix and Houston on the road to our current 5 game win streak has to have these guys juiced as all hell and ready to steamroll anything that gets in their way. I'd be very disappointed if we saw anything less that a convincing win tonight.

The bad news for us is that Kevin Durant is... well, all he was hyped up to be. So far the rook is averaging 20 points a game and in aforementioned Pacers game, rained 35 on Indiana. Bottom line: He's a potential threat. All assumptions are that we will be using The Jackson Effect to cool K.D. off. This should be a key match-up tonight.

A victory tonight is well within our reach.

GSoM Prediction:
- Warriors by 9.
- Jack keeps K.D. under 18 points.
- Beans racks another double double
- Barnes brings the pain. Sonics panic and flee to Oklahoma City.

GET IT DONE WARRIORS!

Update (Atma Brother #1):

Warriors Win!! 109-96

That's 6 wins in a row and 9-1 over the last 10.

Stay tuned for the Recap!

This might be tougher then we think ...
Durant is money! Plus we've historically steamrolled Seattle I just hope we don't take this for granted!

the last couple times we visited them we gained a big lead only to watch it disappear in the second half. hopefully we can get and keep a lead this time

I hope nelly doesn't give any of the starters
40+ minutes of PT.  Its the front end of a b2b with Dwight "the Beast" Howard coming into the O tomorrow.  Gotta take 'em out early.  Gotta conserve that energy.

Actually
I wouldn't mind a Sonics win. It's only poetic justice for my man, P.J. Carlesimo!

A window into the fated practice session:

PJ: Adonal, I want you to show Latrell this face. It'll send him running away screaming!
Adonal: Trust me coach, anyone who has seen my face and hasn't already done so is ready for anything.
PJ: Oh, scrap that idea, then.... Latrell, put a little mustard on....my hot dog! We've already lost the playoffs, and I'm hungry.
Spree: Okay, as long as you're paying! I'm not in the mood of giving charity. Gotta feed my family, ya know!
(Bimbo Coles, vying for the starting job, kicks PJ in the back of the knee. PJ falls onto Spree, and spills Spree's soda, fries, and hot dog.)
Spree: Whaaaaat! According to arena prices, that meal cost me $135.67!!!! How am I gonna feed my family now!
PJ: I swear, it wasn't me. It was Adonal! Can't you see the maliciousness in his eyes?
(Adonal is reading the Wall Street Journal while blocking all of Mussgy Bogues' shots.)
Spree: Okay, okay, I'll belive you.
(Spree goes to buy now hot dogs, come back five minutes later.)
Spree: Here's your hot dog, PJ!
(Throws the plain hot dog to PJ.)
PJ: If I've told you this once, I've told you this a thousand times! Put a little mustard on that pass!
Spree: Mustard is $5 a pack!!!!

And the rest is history.

To get live feeds for the last few games, I have been using this website http://85.92.128.155/~myp2p/forum/viewforum.php?id=4
Here, people will post a number of streams and lots of people use this site to get decent quality streams of games - even from abroad (like myself).

UKgswfan
I've only been a proper Warriors fan for less than a year actually. I was staying in Santa Clara with relatives and I saw them play against Atlanta in February (before their big run which took them to the playoffs) and since then I have followed nearly every game watching or listening, bought Warriors gear and been a big fan. I follow the rest of the NBA too and saw Boston-Minnesota in London in October but the Warriors are and always will be my favourite team. I started posting/reading on here and started doing fantasy basketball in the summer. What about you?

cool
prety much same story as me, i went to visit relatives in Orinda, just outside San Fransisco about 4/5 years ago i think.  I went to see Warriors play Boston (we lost) but ever since ive been hooked.  Started playing basketball aswel until Feb this year when i broke my arm and nose rejecting someone and landing head first on the floor in my regional schools cup final!
I keep up with all their games, shame theres not many warriors games on TV, Sky seem more interested in NFL.
I think i've been a member on here about a year now, love this website!!
hopefully ill be going to USA next xmas and go watch as many games as i can!
Do you know anywhere good to buy Warrior stuff over here, or do you just get it shipped??

Fun game tonight
It seems like ever since Nellie let Monta play more as a scorer, he started gradually opening up his court vision. I loved the play were he drove in from the baseline, drew three defenders, and dished a beautiful around-the-back pass to Andris for an easy two points. It fun watching Monta mature every game.

All our starters got decent rest, so I hope we can keep up the intensity tomorrow night.
