Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

The Block

Yesterday was a rough day for Warriors Nation. First word broke that Baron Davis could miss a huge chunk of the remainder of the season recovering from knee surgery. Then the short-handed Warriors got blown out by the Nuggets in Denver. BUT the Warriors still had one lovely highlight play that had us all going nuts. The Block courtesy of Kelenna Azubuike:

I'm telling you
there's something about Kelenna that really makes me want him to start playing more minutes. He seems to be under control most of the time. Imagine this:

small lineup:
BD, Kelenna, JR, Powell or Al, AB

big lineup:
BD, JR, Al, Powell, AB

Huh?
You would rather play Kelenna than Ellis?  Is there no room for the two of them on the court at the same time?  If that's the case, give me Ellis.

ummm yes
Kelenna is less turn-over prone, can take it to the hoop (not as much as ME tho), rebounds better, plays solid defense (although ME plays better D).

But then again, this doesn't mean ME play less than Kelenna.

You could tell.
J.R. Smith questioned Kel's love for orange soda, and he just wasn't having it. He was like WHAT FOO? GET DOMINATED. GO TO SLEEP.

If you take a look out of your windows, you can now see Dallas, TX. Quite the site, no?

we only
see buke in short minutes. He might lack consistency  and no i don't think he'll ever be the player that ellis could be. Azuibuke should get playing time at the expense of Pietrus and Barnes. Two useless players.

Only thing worth seeing in last night's blowout
Can we call that getting Azubuike'd from now on?

It might get overused though, "Andris goes for a solid 15, 10, and 3 Azubuike's." So use it only when its a major block at the rim like that one was.

Other GSoM'ers mention possibly keeping this guy around for the money that might go Pietrus' way at the end of the season.

I'm all for it, Pietrus plays D, but that kind of at the rim D?

is it just me
or is this embedded video slowing down the GSoM homepage? If others are experiencing issues can it get removed. It was a GREAT swat, but having my browser crash is getting a bit old.

Thanks for letting us know
I changed it to a pic and link to the video instead of embedding it on GSoM. Sorry about the browser trouble- blame Windows Media Player!
