JRICH GOING TO THE PISTONS OR BULLS

Jason Richardson is leaving hints that given their infatuation with Monta Ellis Richardson will be the one traded by the Warriors after the season. Richardson is telling friends he's hoping for a trade to the Pistons or Bulls. ...

it's just a rumor but damn i'd really hate to see him leave.

JR to the Pistons or Bulls??  There's something to make you vomit.

Seems like BS
why would the Bulls or the Pistons want J-rich when they already have swing players?

by Zig on Mar 26, 2007 11:11 AM PDT reply actions

Yes Ben Gordon
is about as good as J-rich and makes way way less

by Zig on Mar 26, 2007 12:45 PM PDT up reply actions

Ben Gordon...
...shouldn't even be used in the same sentence as JRich, the only thing he has on him is his FT%. JRich can post up and take it to the hole, his defense while it does need work is far better than Gordons. JRich is exactly what the Bulls need, all they have on offense right now is a bunch of guys who take jump shots. The Bulls would not be a bad trade partner either, they have some talented young   big guys who can rebound the ball in Yhomas, Noccioni, and Deng any one of them would fit right in. That would leave the Bulls heavy in the backcourt so we would probably end up swapping some more players to fill their front court.

But I am not in favor of it. JRich is the heart and soul of this team, and with him, BD, and Ellis our backcourt is the best in the league.

jeez.
I'll tell you right now, I will cry. I WILL CRY. The man should have his jersey retired, if he goes.

Playoffs in '07, baby!

I don't get this
adulation that everyone here has for J-rich

I like the guy, he is a good player and he plays hard but they haven't exactly been world beaters with him and he plays a postion that is the easiest to fill and has a rather large salary

If they can get better by getting rid of him then goodbye.  Might be good for him too

Just trying to keep an open mind.  Winning is all that matters

please no.........
j rich means so much to this team, he has put more work than anyone on the team. trading him away would just cause more problems with team chemistry. trade adonal and runis and our draft pick for another draft pick.

by stevenro59 on Mar 26, 2007 1:06 PM PDT reply actions

problem is...
trading Jrich to give Monta a starting spot and a new salary is this...Monta is going to make as much as Jrich. So, it's not like your saving any money. And as good as Monta is at driving to the hoop...there are things he can't do like play post defense...play post offense...shoot a 3...etc. that Jrich can do and actually excells at. So...eh. Said it a MILLION times..for this team to reach it's full potential, they MUST find a way to keep Baron, Jich and Monta together as a 3 man gaurd rotation.

trade away foyle and harrington
if harrington is going to be a free agent shouldnt the warriors try to trade him out and i know there are many foyle fans out there but hes just a waste of money the warriors should try to trade away foyle and harrington instead of j-rich because personally i think hes better than both of them

And who do you expect to get for those guys?
No, let me guess. Chris Bosh? Emeka Okafor? Dwight Howard?
