Richardson Denies He Wants To Be Traded

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/03/27/SPG57OSH6A1.DTL

"I don't even have family in Chicago, so I don't know how they got that. That's not true at all," said Richardson, a Michigan native. "I mean, everybody's playing good and we're trying to make the playoffs and you throw something like that out there? People are calling me, my teammates, like, 'Where did that come from?'
"It's kind of messed up, whoever ran that story. I've never said anything close to that."

I'm glad to hear this. He seems really upset that this bogus story got written. Gotta love his heart. Who knows where J-Rich will be next season? I for one would love to see him stay with the Warriors for life. It seems like he would as well.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

wonderful.
I didn't think those rumors could be true.  But nonetheless, it's great to hear him say "It's kind of messed up." and "i never said anything like that," instead of just saying "I didnt make those comments."

In other words, I'm glad he said he wants to stay, as opposed to just denying the comments.

I doubt he has the
pull to have a say one way or the other anyway

Point taken
but that's why the fans here love this guy, and fans in Toronto/New Jersey hate the whiner demanding trades (after already being traded) in terms of a Vince Carter or Alonzo Mourning complaining thing.

Hell, GSoM'ers even took Derek Fisher's comments as sort of derogatory after his leaving he said he wanted to be a bigger part of the offense here.

Enjoy being a big part of Utah's offense buddy.
