Great short piece on the crazy Wizards finish

I found a link to this on true hoop and had to share it with you guys.  The clear breakdown of the chain of events leading to the T is cool but the best part is the interactions between Butler, Nellie, the Refs and especially Matt Barnes and Gilbert.  I love the last line about Matt.  I like Matt a whole heck of a lot.  It's kinda funny how he gets so fired up that he loses perspective (remember those scuffles he was getting in last month?).

nice post...
proving my point that something was said that the warriors representatives don't want to admit to of course, as no organization would.  But of course, there will be some non-believers who say this is prejudice b/c its not coming out of the mouths of Fitzgerald, Barnett or any other respective warriors representative.  If it was a Bay Area reporter or a non-washington reporter, then people might believe it.  Tough loss, but its over, nothing is gonna fix this situation.

and?
So what if he called him an F'n idiot?  It's not like Nelson harassed the referee.  The way I read it, it seemed the ref just didn't want to get shown up (darn that Caron Butler).  The personal foul wasn't so bad as it would've just sent the game into overtime, but calling a T when theres really no time left just takes the game out of the players' hands.  The refs are supposed to call a game, not decide the outcome.

well
One thing i do know is that cussing at the refs gets you an automatic T this season.  That's what makes it tough to protest.

great
so we lost a game because the ref felt embarassed. He let a player force him to make a terrible call. Great.

Yeah
It makes the loss feel even worse.  Oh well, it's time to move on, there's still a chance they can make the playoffs!
