comeback against memphis

I only got to listen to part of the game, but Baron got ejected in the first quarter I think (didn't check the play by play yet) and then it was up to the rest of the team to pick up the slack.

After they went down by 10 in the 4th quarter I decided to put on my lucky shirt. I'm glad they pulled this game out, i just wish it was on tv so I could have watched the game.

Baron getting ejected in the first half might be a blessing in disguise as he now has an extra day to rest up his knee until the game on Wednesday against the rockets. Another note in today's paper, the clippers are in a tie with Denver, but technically they have the clippers in the 7th spot and Denver in the 8th due to percentages. I would love it if we snatched the 8th spot from Denver and took away their post season opportunity.

Anyone has any more detailed info about how today's game went please chime in as I didn't get to listen to most of the second half.

I was at the game

and we didnt get an explanation as to why Baron got ejected but thats on Baron. He is the leader of the team and needs to be on the floor. There is no excuse for him to get ejected...this is a playoff push and he can't lead the team from the locker room. If this game were lost it would be on him. Thankfully the rest of the team stepped and pulled it off but it was much closer than it should have been.

Baron got ejected for

slapping some gum on the scorer's table as he was going to the bench. He didn't say anything or look at a referee after doing it; it was a poor judgement by Steve Javie who only saw it because Nellie called him over for a chat.

wait, did he get ejected just by the gum? or did he get his technical before he went to the bench? Well it will probably be in the paper tomorrow, that sucks though about him getting thrown out, but they still won and thats what matters.

The gum slapping

was after the first technical which Baron got for talking excessively with a ref.

He got the second one so easily because Javie was watching him closely.

so its nellies fault. knowing nelly (or not knowing him, whichever one) this was probably some straneg consiracy to get baron ejected and fire up the team or sumthin. u never no, i mean this is the guy who started a mutant turtle at center

im at albertsons right now

Doing all my husband chores. A small price to pay for going to the game with the woman.
As I sit by the freezer aisle I still can't fathom the laziness on defense the ws displayed for almost the rest of the game.
U guys listening on the radio probably think jrich had a good game since his line looks good but if I had to give him a grade it has to be a c at the most.
There was about 15 opportunities for the ws to finish with a lay in but they elected to kick it out for countless dumb 3s.

More on the game when my wife finally realizes we have spent 500 dollars today
