I beg all GSW fans going to Games 3 and/or 4, stay classy, please.

We cannot stoop to the level of those Homer Dallas fans. I urge all Warriors fans going to the game on Friday and Sunday to stay classy, we don't need to attack Cuban or Fatman. Cuban has no impact on the game whatsoever so we should leave him out of it. Chanting any sort of demonstrative things about Cuban will do nothing but show the nation how classless we are.

And as for the Fatman, we cannot let his comments get to us. He says the controversial things that he says because he gets ratings. Fatman doesn't have a ring, what does he know about winning? There is no need to chant things about the Fatman either because he will just talk more trash about how classless we fans are after the game on TNT insider and since most of the nation tunes in for that, it would be horrible to get the label of classless fans because the Fatman got under our skin.

Please, all fans going to the home games, please stay classy. I strongly believe we have more class than any other fan base in the NBA, let's prove it on Friday and Sunday night.

There were 2 of our last home games that I went to where people started chanting "(insert opposing team here) SUCKS". While it may seem fun to do, it's completely unnecessary and the definition of classless.

I Agree...

I'm all for random heckling by individual fans (i.e. you suck dirk! or learn how to catch damp!), stuff like that. But what I don't like is mass chanting by the crowd, MAVS SUCK!, MAVS SUCK!!! In what way do our players get a boost from that. I think chants like these just pump up the visiting team more than anything. I think it was the last jazz game when the crowd started chanting JAZZ SUCK, and i just thought to myself how stupid and embarassing (for us) that was.

Ok let's be all niner fans and cross our legs, sip wine and eat cheese. Heck we might as well go to the airport and hang some lei's around the mavs' necks. So you think cubans not gonna jump and scream in his seat behind the mavs bench? And what are you gonna do about it when he starts showing us up in our arena?

I'm not advocating violence or pelting the court with crap like they do in europe or asia but what's wrong with some good natured ribbing? No ones gonna scream profanities in unison right?

This is the playoffs, I don't think miss manners will be watching.

Not every cheer has to be some sort of attack on characters that dont even affect the game being played.

As far as I know the Warriors team and fans during the first 2 games in Dallas was treated with all the respect that can be accorded to a visiting team. I was at the game for those two occasions and will be in be supporting the Mavs on Friday in Bay Area ready to see Mav's teach the warriors a lesson or two on how to win have composure and not whine.

Game 6 and its over for the W's. Warriors may sneak a win at home, but in the long run, its all Dallas!

I can't even begin to list the things that would qualify for homerism in Dallas because it would take way too long.

And no they werent treated with any respect, did you see all the taunting that went on when both Baron and Jax were ejected? I wouldn't have been surprised if Baron and/or Jax punched out a fan or two or 129736190263123. That was just one of many examples.

I'll give you this: Mavs fans (and the players, for that matter) are Charmin soft. Charmin Ultra soft. So you are correct in saying that they've been nothing but cordial w/me, one of the lone dub fans in the Big D.

But you're gonna teach us about whining? This from the team who chalks up an all-time choke fest in the finals to an NBA Officiating Conspiracy? Granted there are many homers here on this website who swear that David Stern is out to get us...but come on. Settle down my friend, you're not teaching ANYONE about how not to whine. How about teaching harris how not to flop? Yeah that'd be well spent time.

Mavs fans coming to this forum to 'chat' is downright hilarious. Although, I appreciate their presence b/c it gives us someone to ramble and debate with. I couldn't agree with you more Gamesix, in every interview I've seen with a Dallas player all they can talk about is how 'the championship was taken away from us'. Really? I didn't know they gave those things away...I'm pretty sure you have to earn them. When the going gets tough, I fully expect this team to implode, maybe not this series...but at some point this postseason.

As for 'staying classy'. Here's a list of chants I find appropriate and demeaning:

For when Cuban repeatedly jumps out of his seat and yells about things: "SIT DOWN CU-BAN" clap-clap-clap clap clap
For when Nowitzki whines about no-calls: "YOUR MOTHER AND I ARE GETTING A DIVORCE DIRK"
For when Devin Harris flops repeatedly: "VLADE DIVAC" (Elongating each word. VLLLLAAAADDDDDEEEE DIIIIIVAAAAC")
For when J-Rich slams one on somebody: "DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ NUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTZ"

Its been 13 long years since this team been back to the playoffs. This team had nothing to get crazy about for the last 13 years yeah we got some good picks like jrich,monta,biedrins, then got baron and then the trade. Now we in the playoffs this aint no normal game this is the playoffs i love this team and who knows what the outcome of this series is gonna be could be the mavs coming out on top or our boys from the bay. I'm saying get buck bay area lets give this team some energy and scream our hearts out. LETS GO WARRIORS!!!!!!

Let's hope our fans in Oracle Arena stay classy and hyphy at the same time. The Warriors really need our support to prove to everyone outside of the Bay Area that we're the best team in the NBA. Not only we want to upset the Dallas Mavericks, but we have to emphasize the Hyphy Movement. Yadadamean!!!
