Silly Radio Folk

So I was on a local radio station (somewhere in Texas) to talk about the palyoffs and what not and the hosts started off with a joke of a question after they greeted me. They were making fun of how the Mavericks have David Hasselhoff flying in from Vegas and the Warriors have no celebrity fans and started laughing.

My response was quick: "Fellas, you ever hear of Jessica Alba? I guess Maverick fans are so insecure about the series that they're resorting to ridiculous and uninformed points of comparison for the upper hand."

They hung up on me.

Their program director called me back, apologized, and said one of the hosts doesn't like being shown up like that.

Oh well. Let's see if my boss gets mad at me for being so rude.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Don't dish it out if you can't take it back!
"Don't like to be shown up like that" yet don't say it yourself and resort to having the program director apologize?

Well, I guess you were quick on the trigger and could have shot back a less intense: "David Hasellwho? Its 2007 fellas. Jessica Alba has somewhat of a relation to Baron Davis so watch your sets for her on Friday/Sunday night since Eva Longoria is overrated and last, last, last year's news."

Haha
I'm normally a pretty laid back guy and I was just joking with them, but I guess I was too harsh. Oh well.

i think it was
kate Hudson who went to high school with BD.  In fact I think Baron was kinda taken in by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, or something like that..

I think his friendship with Invisible Woman is from something else ...

nevertheless....

I hope Jessica makes a cameo appearance as one of the Warrior Girls..show us some of the "honeY' moves she got goin on...

um... i heard
Dirk is a huge David Hasselhoff?  I know Hasselhoff is famous in Germany...

I'm serious about this too, so don't think it's a joke.  Despite how funny it is hahaha.

Yeah, but David Hasselhoff
is more of a C-D celebrity now, yeah?

That old guy front row during Dallas games with the pastel colored leather pants and whatnot probably stands out more.

Germany
He's not big in the US, but he's huge in Germany. They really like his singing albums. I don't know why, but it's true.

Those announcers
saying that David Hasselhoff flew in to watch the mavs game is already like clownin' the mavs... maybe jessica alba was like adding insult to injury and thats the reason why they hung up!!!

wow
so the # of celebrities that attend your games determines how good of a team you are. riiiiiiight. so remind me why the lakers don't win the title every year?
