Props to Ballhype for making it 100x easier to dig up all these Warrior links. The Warriors shocked the world and those 2 GSoMers celebrated by busting out the tabs- check it out!

Tomorrow Houston and Utah square off to see who gets to play 5 on 20,667. Have fun fellas. We're waiting...

The way I've always thought of it....
If the Warriors get bounced in the 2nd round then that just further proves that Dallas never deserved to be in the conversation about finals. So, critics talk about how lousy the Warriors are and how they didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs, well guess what, these "lousy, bunch of midgets" just took out the Dallas Mavericks.

what it means
I don't think it's really possible for most Warriors fans to realize how big an upset and how much of a shocker this series really is because they expected the Warriors to do well against the Mavs. I mean, it truly is a shocking development as far as the rest of the country is concerned.

And now the rest of the country/NBA-universe is talking Warriors basketball and realizing that this team is for real. They may not go all the way, but they already made it farther than anyone expected at the beginning of the year and again at the beginning of the playoffs. Not only are they talking W's basketball, but they are enjoying watching this team play. They are discovering the true grit and heart and talent on this team and they are loving it!

The Warriors are the center of the basketball world right now and nothing could be better for the Bay Area and Warriors hoop going forward, which is just awesome.

Left hand, right hand, it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious.

better than "the catch?"
I never thought I'd witness a greater Bay Area vs Dallas sports moment than the 49er's/Dwight Clark's "THE CATCH" over the Cowboy's Everson Walls in the 82 NFC Championship, but this Warrior/Mavs series comes pretty darn close.  Let's hope the results for our dubs are the same as for those 81-82 Niners.  (Raider fans, please don't hate!) One dub nation!!!!
