Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

congrats to the cavs

on winning the eastern conference!  I am a huge lebron fan but that kid daniel gibson tore it up today..he shot 7-9 and had 31 points 5-5 from 3s! I hope they beat the spurs though I really hate watching them win.

Do you think the cavs have a chance of winning?  I do if they can't stop lebron or somebody else getting hot but you know bowen is going to pull out some dirty d to stop the king.

congrats cavs
What a huge win for their franchise and region. I don't know about them winning the finals, but they're gonna give San Antonio a run for their money. The finals are definitely more interesting with the King and Co. in them.

i hate to ask...
but if they beat the Spurs does this put Lebron up there with MJ, Bird, Magic, Big O, Shaq and Kobe?

Well...
it would silence the doubters that constantly use the arguement that he hasn't won a championship.

i would definately put
lebron over kobe if they win.  i mean i know kobe is in the west and lebron is in the east, but kobe could never and most likely will never win it all without another superstar like shaq.  Lebron is doing it by himself.

Not trying to sound like a smart-a$$
but for some reason the first time I saw Gibson play I knew he was going to be good.

I once said the exact same thing about Yinka Dare.

Cavs
great win for that organization. SO glad the Pistons are out of it. Now if Lebron can just beat the Spurs, I'll be happy with this postseason.

Cavs
Cavs have chance. If the Cavs win, this definitely puts him up there with the greats. Look at his squad..Larry Hughes is a nice player and Daniel Gibson had a nice run, but none of these guys are Scottie or Shaq/Kobe...LeBron did this w/ a less talented squad and pretty much alone (see game 5).

PS - I hate watching the Spurs! Go Cavs!

spurs
i doubt bowen can stop lebron. he can take anybody on the spurs. i bet bowen is gonna try to hurt him or if manu takes a turn then he's gonna do his flopping act like varajeo does. as good as he is though, spurs take this one. if lebron can pull it out though then he'll be up there with magic, jordan, and bird and that LA team that once had shaq and kobe. but its funny how on espn and on here that when they go do the greatest of all time segment, people pass on wade and some claimed he was the next mj. remember he did win it for them last year. i guess he's just a superstar not one to be considered an all time great that people are making lebron to be right now
