New Warrior Rumors

I know I cant post ESPN Insider stuff, so I will just fill you in on some rumors.

Warriors rejected #11 from Hawks but have dangled Monta & #18 to Bobcats for #8. Bobcats were to decide today which offer they were gonna take.

Also NY Knicks apparently LOVE Sean Williams and have offered to rid us of Foyles contract for #18. Pretty juicy.

Man, I just cant wait for tomorrow.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Woah...are you serious?
That would be great, to get rid of foyle that is, and I'd much rather see monta go than J-Rich, I'ma go check it out.

And since when can't we post Insider info on here? I always do, as long as I quote the text and attach the link?

HE GOT IT!!!!!!!

The brain-dead Knicks
Are $65M (!!!) over the cap, and have no expiring contracts of note. And now, somehow, they're willing to add Foyle, another absurdly overpriced, slow big man (to go with fat Curry and fatter James) just so they can draft ... Sean Williams?

Seriously, someone in the NBA office needs to consider an intervention. Dolan and Thomas should be locked up for what they've done to that once-proud franchise. I mean, don't get me wrong -- I would absolutely love to swindle those assclowns out of all their valuable assets. The problem is, outside of David Lee, they don't have any.

An Intervention...lol
The thought of this cracks me up. I can see Isiah walk into his office to find all his friends and family have taken away the team checkbook and are about to strap him down and make him watch game tapes of the Jordan ere Bulls so he can remember what great players and winning teams actually look like. This guy has been on a mission to gobble up all the bad contracts in the league. The worst part is they never actually let any of the contracts expire they just trade them away for worse players with longer contracts! Foyle on the knicks would just be too perfect. Maybe they would finally rest knowing that after all the hard work they had acquired the worst contract in the league.

I'm pretty sure
I'm pretty sure you can post a link to ESPN Insider stuff and quote. Just don't copy the whole article of course.

Thanks for posting this diary up.

Ya they have some major issues
seeing that they have a load of bums and they want to take on ours for the NBA'S version of Ricky Williams

Foyle deal sounds good
But who on the Knicks would be a good trade.

If we packaged Foyle and the #18 Pick we'd still have to take some bad contracts back that would just end a year earlier.  If our roster remains the same, 1 year doesn't help us all that much. We'd need to take back someone with an expiring contract.  Please let me know if my thinking is wrong.

And I'm not so fond of taking someone like Jerome James off the knicks hands either.

Hmm...At 8, the W's have a legitimate chance at Yi
that's probably another one of those wait and see type deals. If the celtics pass, we might be home free with yi.  Anyways  there's a nice scouting report on Yi over at draftexpress.com.  I didn't think it warranted a diary but it's pretty thorough.  Those guys apparently have watched most of his CBA games, or so they claim.

we can't just give them adonal
they would have to give us some people to matchup salaries.
