BREAKING NEWS!!!! NELLIE IS STAYING!!!!
Okay, well I think this diary from Saint of the fabulous Oakland Raiders SBN blog Silver and Black Pride recounting his experience with Fooch from the fantastic San Francisco 49ers SBN blog Niners Nation last night deserves some front page attention. Haha, kinda funny to see a diehard Raider fan and a diehard 49er fan hanging out, but as we say around these parts- 1 Dub. 1 Luv.

This is a first hand account of an A-Mazing fan experience that I had last night.
This is my first post here, though some of you know me as a host of The Left Coast Sports Fanatics Podcast and also the main writer of SBNs Silver And Black Pride (Raiders Blog).
I really wanted to report this here last night, but I was too busy watching Lauryn Hill fall on her ass, literally!!!
Here is the story...
Fooch, my co-host for LCSF, and I were trying to set up our podcast at The Pacific Coast Brewery and it was not working. At the very last second we went running across the street to the Marriott because we were told that they had wi-fi.
After being there for about three minutes, CHRIS MULLIN walked in. I was kind of in awe and caught off guard as he wlked by me, so I just gave him a very professional, "Wassup Mully?", to which he replied, "Hey". It was then that I realized there were about 10 of the Warriors brass mixed in with scouts. "HOLY Crap...We were setting up our internet show right in the middle of the Warriors pre-draft war room!!!
Fooch, who was feeling sick up until that point, suddenly started feeling a lot better. He said, "Well if this is the war room, then where is Nellie?"
I told him that Nellie was not scheduled to take part in much of the pre-draft scouting and that I didn't "expect" him to be there.
No sooner had those words came out of my mouth than Don Nelson came walking in!!!
He took his place at the head of the group looking tan and "a bit" refreshed.
We were just getting the show under way and I couldn't even speak. Here we were eight feet away from greatness and the most important place for any Warrior fan to be in that moment.
Their discussion went on for about forty minutes and once Nellie had finished his beverage of choice he came walking past me.
I thanked him for his work last year and shook his hand, and just as he got past me I asked him if he would be back next year. He didn't really hear me, but he turned around and said, "Cuban?".
I didn't know if he was inviting for a Cuban or asking me if I was asking him about Mark Cuban, so I asked him again, and just as he turned the corner he turned to me with a big smile and gave a
very enthusiastic thumbs up!!!
I was STOKED!!!
It is A-Mazing what happens when you follow a spontaneous flow.
The flow continued as I left the parking lot and MITCH RITCHMOND came walking up to my car.
I said, "Hey Mitch!", and he walked up to my car and said, "What's up man?", I told him that I was very excited about the draft and that it looked like big things are brewing for the Warriors. To this he smiled and said in a very cat that ate the canary way, "I hope so, we'll see"!!!
In the course of one hour I'd met three of my four favorite Warriors. I joked to my fiance that had Tim Hardaway came up to wash my windows I would not have been shocked!!!!
I am more excited about this year's draft, for obvious reasons now, than I have ever been for a draft.
The Warriors are coming off of a winning season and have three picks as well as a few players they can trade. I promise that something BIG will happen today, so stay tuned. Of Course I will not repeat anything that I overheard yesterday. It would be irresponsible journalism.
Cheers,
Saint

woah
Look in to the fact that you lose respect for people who like other teams than you do.
Stay on topic.

I'm not in a position to talk junk right now because although I believe the raiders had a very good draft, I still don't think they're going to be a threat to anybody this year. Next year you'll be up to your neck in trash talk boy.

Not surprised...what if....
Note: Don's said that his wife "loves the bay area" and that he has family residing here. Just a thought, but could he call this home some day and take a management job?
