GSoM YouTube Tuesday: Dude. Put the book down.

Hey there. Listen, I need you to check something out for me. For the last time, please please please, put that Harry Potter book down.

Yes. I know. You’ve explained the importance of the book to me about 30 times already, but it doesn’t take away from the sheer hyphiness of what I have to show you. Seriously. Put Harry down. He’s not going anywhere.

Dammit, LOOK AT ME WHEN I’M TALKING YOU! It’s freakin’ YouTube Tuesday and you’re going to waste it with your nose buried in the final chapter of the epic saga between Harry and Voldemort?! YouTube Tuesday only comes once a week! All I’m asking is for you to come and join the Muggle world for two seconds and check out quite possibly one of those most baller recaps of the ’07 NBA Playoffs that I’ve ever seen!

Thank you! Now, while the following footage may be devoid of Horcruxes and Death Eaters, it does happen to contain an extreme amount of hype and energy. Be warned however, that this video should not be viewed by anyone not capable of conjuring a corporeal Patronus in the face of a dementor.

Not that I’ve read the books myself or anything…

In all seriousness. Please be respectful if you really are reading the book. Post no spoilers here.

Spoilers Spoilers!
"Harry's scar burned as the images of Hermione and Ron slowly faded into black...

He saw a sea of yellow, and his eardrums strained as fans louder than any at the Quidditch World Cup screamed and cheered. Harry, scar scalding, looked down to see a blue sleeveless shirt with the word "JAZZ" printed on it in purple. Harry staggered, struggling to gain his footing, as the pain emanating from his scar rendered him unable to focus. Also, he strangely felt as if he had suddenly transfigured into a 6' 9" Russian.

Harry turned his head to see Baron Walter Louis Davis, a legend throughout the wizarding world, renowned for his ability to fly without any spells or wings. As Baron jumped in the air, cocking his arm to sledgehammer the American Quaffle, or as Baron called it, a "basketball", through the orange-rimmed goal, Harry jumped up with him, because he realized that he would need Baron's help in order to return to England.

"Baron!" HarryAK yelled in mid-flight.
"Harry?!?!" Baron whispered loudly, flabbergasted, "What are you doing in AK's body?"
"Voldemort must have discovered the link between him and myself, and used an advanced form of Occulmency to transfer me into this body!"
"You must stop Voldemort while I continue to protect the Queen Veela Jessica Alba! Here, let me touch your scar and transport you back to your own  body."

Baron reached out his left arm and thrusted his arm onto Harry's scar with considerable force, surging magic throughout Harry's body, all while looking completely natural as he hammered the Quaffle into the net.

The last thing Harry saw was Baron's godly left hand, the last thing he heard was a titanic ROAR from the crowd, and the next thing he felt was Hermione's right hand, shaking him into consciousness...

I have random creative explosions during summer vacation.

Thanks
Hash, you just ruined the book for me. Now, I know that someone is called Horcruxes in Harry Potter. Biggest spoiler ever. I don't even wanna read it anymore. I've only finished book 5 so I'm not sure if he is in the sixth one.

I hope Harry dies just for the hell of it.

Awesome choice of video
My favorite part is definitely fisher's 3 followed by Barons dunk over AK. Sure fisher's 3 hurt us, but as a fan of the sport and a member of humanity you have to have alot of respect for the situation he was in. Baron's dunk needs no explanation round these parts.

Instant Youtube favorite right there.

It's FANtastic
That video is slamming. If only ESPN could step up their coverage and production of the NBA like TNT.

TNT's coverage is on point. Exactly how it should be done (minus Magic Johnson's in studio analysis). Bring back Hubie Brown and they're golden. Dick Stockton's the man, but he's uh... showing his age.

Slammin!
I like how you're attempting to bring thr word back, Atma. It's too good to be lost to the 90s!

And yes, ever since NBC has gone TNT has been THE PLACE for NBA coverage. Period. Aside from, of course, good ol' Fox Sports Net Bay Area.

Tony aka Drawlz600 is AWESOME!!!!

Hash's Potter
Man I never even knew you were that into Harry Potter. Haha

I hear the books are almost as good as this TNT mix.
