LINE-UP OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED! MUST READ!

Some of you guys thought that and this were the biggest things this summer. Nope, not even close. In (less than) dramatic fashion, the Warrior Girls 2007-2008 dance team has been announced. This might honestly be the biggest controversy in the Warriors organization. Bigger than questions around Nellie's return and the fate of the Warriors with and without JRich (or KG), the dancers picked have some of GSoM scratching their heads. What happened to our fab five???

At any rate, here are your new Warrior Girls (with the exception of the two, which will be explained later)!

Like the actual Warrior roster, the Warrior Girls team is still filling up their roster, with two open spots left. Here is your chance as fans to determine the outcome of the dance squad (I wish we could vote on actual basketball players, too...)! Check it out:

This year, for the first time ever, the FINAL 2 Warrior Girls will be chosen by YOU, the fans! On Friday, July 27, the first 14 dancers to make the 2007-08 team were announced right here on warriors.com. But we are giving YOU the chance to decide who will stake claim to the final two spots. Simply watch each dancer's audition video and vote for your favorite!

Voting will take place from Friday, July 27 through Friday, August 3, so vote now! At the conclusion of the contest, the top two vote-getters will be named the two newest members of the 2007-08 Warrior Girls.

The website provides photos and streaming video. Pretty great that the Warriors provided these online treats. BUT, make your picks wisely. In the words of Spiderman's Uncle Ben, "With great power, comes great responsibility"... and all that jazz. The fate of our organization rests in your finger tips. We all know how things went down when we chose Todd Fuller, Mike Dunleavy Jr., and Vonteego Cummings. We can't let it happen again!

BRIANNA & LYNSI

Definitely the two best dancers out of the final 5! I think they have the best sex appeal too!

Not to be mean, but if KARLEE doesn't make it, we should try her out at PF! She has freakishly long limbs!

I think they all did a good job, but I'm definitely going to miss the old squad...especially GERILYN! =(

Hmmm - if this was a beauty contest - I can't say I liked any of the chosen girls. Nothing personal, I'm sure they are fine people and all. The makeup and stuff cover up their natural features.

As far as the final two - Jennifer and Heather would be my choices.

dam these girls are like ??? lol. i like thera though well thats cause im filipino and i seriously think shes cute. and i voted for heather, shes pretty and can at least dance. 3 of the ugly ones cant even dance!!! if i saw them at the club i would be like um wtf are you doing lol!

Hey everyone,

My name is Heather - I'm one of the final 5 you (the fans) get to pick from. I think its great that you are all on here and that there is so much interest and support for the Warrior Girls!!! Wanted to say thanks to everyone who has voted - for me or not - its still showing support to the Organization and despite all of the negativity surrounding the Warrior Girls; specifically the Director, its good to know there is a decent amount of optimism.

I have been a Warrior fan forever, its actually funny if you look on the Warriors official home page and click "its a great time out" and then "thunder" link, I'm in the 1st small picture on the left side of the screen ... ha-ha I was a Junior in high school!! Anyways, the reason I write is because despite what happens w/ the director or who even makes the final 2 (which would be AMAZING) I think it's important that the overall focus is to support the team and contribute to making the Warriors Organization better! That's why I'm here at least - because I love to dance and because the Warriors are in the process of laying the foundation to what could become a remarkable NBA dynasty.
