Warrior Girls: the Truth

This is from a good friend of mine:

I was the one who received phone calls from beautiful, talented, sweet girls crying out of devistation from being cut one by one... Susan really went out of her way to make sure each vet felt the pain of a mesy cut and got a little too much pleasure out of it to be regarded as a human being.
She really just wants young girls who don't know any better than to be treated as respectful people with standards and feelings (and taste). They will be too afraid to fight back and will just deal with the tears as they drive home in the middle of the night from practices and even most games. I hate to think they will have a season half as bad as ours.

Thank you so much for your interest and understanding in our situation.

So you guys , the conspiracy is true. But please be civil. Its not the actual PLAYERS just the entertainment.Just respect the new girls, the vet girls and the Warrior Organization

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

You guys know this Susan chick?
Personally i've never heard of her before this stuff, but she must have not been too bad if we haven't heard anything up until now, and the girls obviously wanted back on the team. Must've been an ok boss

SUSAN - TIME FOR YOU TO REPLY
I'm about ready to jump on board the Fire Susan Movement! However, I would like to hear from the boss herself.

Susan - make yourself heard!

If anyone has any quotes from her, now is the time to share.

Not Golden State Warriors. OAKLAND WARRIORS!

the bottom line is
no matter who your source is, vet or rookie, you are going to get a different story. the ones who got cut will say the worst things about susan, and the ones who made the team again will say nothing but good things. just let the dancers dance.

Wow
Susan created an account on GSoM as montamonta!!!!

Just kidding, montamonta.

ahem
Well. . .

Should the Fire Susan Movement begin, I think it would only be fitting that we here at Golden State of Mind open our arms and support the 2006-2007 Warrior Girl squad by officially announcing them as. . .

the GSoM Girls!

Atma, DJ Fuzzy Logic, Fantasy Junkie, Hash, YaoButta. . .make it happen.

haha
im sure if susan had an account she would have much more to say!

by montamonta on Jul 30, 2007 4:30 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Yeah
You know I was just kidding.

Besides, according to WG21, boutballin is the new candidate to be Susan.

It doesn't matter, there's about a 0.00001% chance Susan is (or ever will be) commenting on this diary.

WOW.....
I can't believe GSoM is even spending time on this mess. WHO CARES! I actually know some of the girls from the old team and the 4 that were cut. Those ladies made that coach's job hell last year on purpose. The WG ran their dance team themselves the prior year and didn't want anyone new coming in telling them how or what to do. 2 of the 4 tried out for 49'ers (missed a Warrior game for it) and didn't make it, and that's why they came back. 1 couldn't dance and the same "friends" that were cut with her complained  that she couldn't dance. Also I heard 2 of the cut girls messed with the same Warrior player. I don't think they are suppose to be doin' that. If you hated it so much, why the HELL did you tryout. HMMM let's see, maybe PLAYOFFS and the attention!  I'm just disappointed that time is being wasted on these so called "ladies" and the sappy story at the top sounds like a damn Cheerleading Soap. BYE BYE 06-07 Good Luck 07-08 and GO WARRIORS!

hahaha...wow!!
..you apparently know it all....this is probably either susan or one of her friends so let me lay it all out there!!!  Not only did we not try to make her life hell, we welcomed the change.  Being on the team for years, I was unhappy with the way we were run last year...so I was excited when somebody new came in.  It all changed however when Susan started talking about all the girls behind our backs...telling us all we have muffin tops, telling girls that they were lucky to be on the team!!....in addition, the coach would frequently not even be with us at games, she would be "snuggling" with the break dancers!!!.....to my recollection, that is not in the job discription.  Someone even spotted her making out with one of them while we were performing.  Quite often we were forced to stay at practice until 12am  purely because susan was unprepared at practice!!!  we were often  not even alowed water breaks.  We also would catch susan, a 40 year old woman, hiding in small rooms listening in our locker room conversations...how old are you????   The list goes on and on...for days even.  Responding to the girls that tried out for other teams...the reason was simple...Warriors was no longer fun!!  we were treated badly and no one listended to our concerns!!  these girls wanted to try for something else..and no they did not miss a game, just a practice!!.  The girls that hooked up with players???? hmmm..you might want to look at girls that made it back this year....not the old girls!!
The reason some of us returned was because we were told that things would be different...that she wouldnt be allowed to treat us that way.  We wanted to believe that the warriors wanted to make it right...but that didn't happen!!!  they proved that they don't care about the young women representing their team!!!  So you think you know it all? obviously not!!!  I would never want to treat someone with disrespect unless it was for a valid reason...and boy was it valid!!!  I had never been treated so badly in my life!!  So try getting the facts straight before you claim to know what you're talking about!!!  13 girls cannot be wrong!!!

First of all....
That is funny if you "Can't Believe"  GSoM is spending time on this issue then why are you???? You also failed to mention that a few of the other now ex-warrior girls in desperation of finding a better team also tried out for not only the 49ers but the Raiders.  One of the returners of last season was so disgusted with the way things were being run she quit right before play-offs and Susan didn't even tell us.  The WG's didn't receive any profits from the calendar after WE found the photographer, the hair stylist (that wasn't advertised on the calender) and the actual swimsuits....nope Susan didn't do any of this we did!! Oh and the 4 that were making Susan's year hell were also surrounded by the other 12 team members (even the 3 returning WGs of last season)  in not only signing a petition to fire her, but also meeting with human resources and some of the Warriors office staff.... oh speaking of staff members did I mention Susan is renting the presidents condo....hmm and in response to why they came back it wasn't for attention is was because Susan actually called some of the girls promising a fresh new start and that everyone would be given a fair chance....guess not

by wgs0607 on Jul 30, 2007 10:42 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

in reponse to boutballin...
um who are you?? Guess what - that new 'highschool' cheerleading team that has been created under the conspiratory evil doings of Susan?? THAT team is no way a match for last year's melting pot of talent and beautiful faces. I'm not sure if Susan realizes how much fans appreciate seeing returning squad members on the court; clearly that idea wasn't factored into her decision-making process. Oh my favorite is how one of her good friends just happened to make the team...you're joking right? So unless you are someone who was actually on the team, please refrain from writing bogus comments in Susan's defense. You don't have a f-in clue.
