Web Pin Wednesdays is back in full effect! That's right ya'll, get your creative taste buds on, because every week we will be showcasing our community's hottest Web Pins! I can't describe how much creative talent is represented on this site from it's community members here at GSoM! We've got seasoned veterans producing Web Pins on the Photoshop tip, along side peeps who are ready to learn... if not getting into the creative mix of producing their own fun icons.

Within the coming weeks, I will have a special segment on "How to make your own Web Pin" using Photoshop, with simple steps on placing images and text into a Web Pin document to explaining more advanced steps in creating clipping paths and placing images of Baron or Monta into a new and hyped-up background!

GSoM Warriors Web Pins
Think of them as digital refrigerator magnets. They make excellent GSoM signatures, fun desktop images, cool rotating screensavers, hot IM avatars, fly MySpace profile add-ons, and great conversation pieces.

Got a Web Pin?
We know there are a lot of skilled Photoshoppers and graphic artists in the GSoM community, so definitely email us your own GSoM Warrior Web Pins or post them in a diary and we'll give your work some of that good ol' GSoM love and airtime on the main page. Keep the width at 160 pixels and make sure that it's all good for our family show. There's really only one rule- it has to be FUN. Here's a template (Photoshop file) to get you started.

If you're a digital image rookie have no fear! Just email us a great image with your caption and BAM!- I'll get your Web Pin assembled.

Send us your Warrior Web Pins or requests to tonydotpsd@gmail.com with the title "GSoM Warrior Web Pin- SUBMISSION" or "GSoM Warrior Web Pin- IDEA". Wednesdays are more than just Hump Days... It's fun again!

(P.S. There are a number of you who gave me Web Pin requests and ideas last week... I haven't forgotten! It's just one of those weeks where everyone in my department decided to call in sick!)

As soon as...

I finish my "How to draw a Warrior Girl Segment!" Man, ya'll voted for it (46% of ya'll!) So I'm gettin' busy! W/ all the drama goin on in that camp, I'm still drawin' a familiar face but may alter it a tad and may not have a name drop- you can tell who it is... as for the psd lesson... I'm actually jotting down some notes making sure peeps as old as my god son who is 6 and someone who is as old as my pops can relate to making webpins! (hmmm... maybe next week!)

FYI... everyone asking for that J-Rich related art session, I've got a huge art Canvas in my guest room... I think that white canvas has J-Rich's name on it!

Hey, I have a question for the many webpin-possessing GSoMers. Where do you get pictures for them? I don't know anything about where to get pictures or which pictures people are allowed to use for personal business (I just got mine from the Warriors' website's wallpaper photos). Don't some pictures have crazy copyrights on them? Can someone help me out. I don't want to restrict my webpin possibilities to the Warriors website wallpaper.

Sites....

What's up- when ever I need images from the Web for Warriors related stuff, a lot of times I go to The Warriors website's wall paper section... I also just use Google's image search file... just type someone like Monta Ellis and usually, whatever's posted on the web shows up in all sorts of file sizes... Also try this new legit site I started using called www.viewimages.com or www.gettyimages.com - just type in whoever you're looking for (Baron, J-Rich) and just about every professional image highlighted on major publications is viewable for you to copy... the images maybe small, but they're big enough to create webpins!

Hey Tony.psd: Webpin Idea

I don't know if you are still looking in here but I had an idea for a webpin. Its inspired by Croshere's Caesar hair-do. It would just be a picture of him with his Caesar do and if you could add one of those Roman head wreath things on him that would be sweet. And for the caption it would just say "Hail Caesar!" If you have some free time try it out, I just don't have the skills to do it proper like you would. Thanks.
