Warriors Official Schedule Announced

The NBA announced the Warriors official season schedule today. The Warriors officially start the season on October 30 against the team that knocked us out of the playoffs, the Utah Jazz. Interesting choice by the league to put us head to head against the team that knocked us out. I would have thought we could open against Dallas on national tv to embarrass them even more. I guess that won't happen. Now Utah has a chance to show everyone that we still lack the inside presence to deal with the big bangers. Let's hope the season gets started on the right foot as opposed to last year when a Kobe-less Lakers brought out the whooping stick.

This year, the Warriors are slated to appear in 10 nationally televised games (TNT and ESPN) while also appearing on NBA tv 9 times. So, what are some key games I'd like to attend?

October 30 vs Utah
November 8 vs Dallas (TNT)
December 5 vs Milwaukee (Yiii)
December 7 vs Miami (The return of Pietrus?)
January 13 vs Indiana (standing O for Dun Dun)
February 1 vs Charlotte (standing O for Jrich)
February 20 vs Boston (How are the big 3 doing?) Any game vs Phoenix (110 point minimum per team) Any game vs LA Lakers Any game vs Portland (Oden may be boring, but I'm intrigued) Any game vs Seattle (Durant will be ROY)

I'm looking forward to it. Just 3 months away until Utah comes back. Let's do it.

Which games are you looking forward to and if you could only attend one game which one would that be?

Nice
10 Nationally televised games! I'm going to UC San Diego next year following in the footsteps of Hash, Atma, FJ, and DJ Fuzzy Logic. Do you guys know if the dorms get NBATV? All I know is we get free cable and I think we get HBO. I would be happy with 19 games on TV and the rest through my crappy slingbox.

Wondering
I'm probably the only person who doesn't know this, but what is NBATV. I thought it was an online thing, but you're making it sound like an actual TV channel. Can someone fill me in?

It
is an actual channel. Not sure about the internet stuff but on Comcast, it is channel 416 if you have the cable box. My cable box finally let me start watching FSN+ after the season ended.

I have the Comcast Cable Box...
...but I live in Santa Cruz county so I'm not as close as you probably are to the bay.

I have always had FSN+ but I don't seem to have NBATV.

While I'm at school this year, so it'll be exciting to go see them in the Garden.

mos def
the Feb 1st game againt the JrichCats. Matter of fact, i'm looking at that entire month as being HUGE this year. 9 out of 10 games at home! Very important stretch.

Let's Go Oakland! Gas, Brake, Dip.

nba tv.
yeah i go ucsd too, and this year i watched all the games on an nba league pass. i bummed my friend for his password and stuff so i was able to watch all the games for free pretty much. it sucks though, cuz when a game is on nba tv, they wont show the game online for some reason. im looking forward to warriors-lakers and warriors-trailblazers games cuz my roomates are big faker and jailblazer fans.

Awesome job getting the games on TV
Alas, there will be no NBA in my city this season. :'(

However, January 2nd in Dallas you may have to mark me down for.

Tony aka Drawlz600 is AWESOME!!!!

Game looking forward too
Well as a season ticket holder I spent most of last night decided which games I want to go to and which to divvy out. One thing to note is that I think the first 13 home games are all quality games to break out the check book on and drop some $$$ to see (ok maybe the Clips and Bucks are board line). Here are my top games in no particular order:

Nov-6 Cleveland
Dev-7 Miami
Jan-4 New Orleans
Feb-1 Charlotte
Feb-11 Washington
Feb-20 Boston
Any Dallas
Any Phoenix
Any Seattle
Any Portland

Croshere
Looks like we are getting Croshere.  Nice roll player  off the bench.

Crochere
Will be next years Barnes.  And in the 6 games against his former teams, he'll avg. 22pts & 9 boards... Yeah, right.  In my homeristic dreams.

WHY
do the lakers get so much national attention? their so boring to watch besides kobe but other than that i'd rather watch the heat play or phoenix or the warriors play that much. seriously lakers should not get that much national air time just cuz they have kobe. they didn't even make it past the first round of the playoffs, i know heat didn't either but heat play a much funner style of basketball, watching diesel slam it home or wade weaving through traffic or white chocolates "thread the needle" passes. phoenix for their high scoring game and their non stop excitement same with the warriors though i don't know how it will be like this year with crosher and that other dude. anyways i just hate it that the lakers get all the exposure on national tv.

peace out

sorry, this is what you have to put into your signature section:

img src="INSERT Link to Image"

Place that link from your post above where it says INSERT Link to Image. Also, you have to put this symbol < at the very beginning before img and this one > at the very end after the last quotation mark.
