Rumor: Sarunas to F C Barcelona?

Hoopshype has captured a translation from El Mundo Deportivo rumoring Sarunas to be heading oversees. Of course, this would free up $4M, but also impacts possible trades with MP2 for higher valued players. There are four links to the same article. Looks like he would get paid more money and for a longer term. 10M for 3 seasons. Thoughts?

if he's not getting any good playing time here, it might be a good thing for him to go back and play where he's a good player because he's not a bad player.

Runi ,

a while back was quoted that he wants to play somewhere because of lack of playing time with the Warriors. According to him "he was a highly paid back-up PG." Remember he is a starter with the power house club in Europe the Maccabi-Elite of Tel Aviv.

I for one was surprised why he exercised his player option with the Ws when he can play in Europe where he is idolized and cheered instead of leading the cheering for the Dubs. I wish the best for him if he can sign-up and play in Europe esp with the Olympiacos a Group A team in the Euroleague.

His contract

can't be bought out until the Warriors agree to it. This is probably a second option for the Warriors, in order to get rid of his contract and give them more salary room under the luxury tax. My guess is that their first option is to include his contract in a deal to get a more useful player.
