Update: I just spoke with Chris Murphy and he's informed me that the original tickets in the $30 section have sold out. The next set of tickets are $40 (normally $48). They're in a better section so you'll get a better view and they're next to the original section, but are up a level in pricing.

Realizing you could have purchased GSoM tickets to be with the best fans in the world that included an exclusive T-Shirt and potential give-aways - Crazy ... because you still have time!

Not to beat it into your head, but tickets go on sale to the general public on Sept. 22 which only gives you 10 days left for this exclusive GSoM extravaganza. To date, we've sold 415 tickets! 415 tickets! That surpasses last year's total of 350! A big thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets so far. But we have many more available for sale. Remember these are discounted tickets because we at GSoM want to give back to our loyal readers so please take advantage before they sell out.

On a separate note, I saw this commercial the other day and decided this has to be one of my all time favorite Nike ads. It doesn't include anyone from the Warriors and it's not even basketball related, but I think it gets me pumped up for any kind of sport. I know we're more then a month away from training camp, but I can't explain how excited I am for basketball season! Check it out:

My favorite thing about free shirts is that they are free. Which means if you are broke, they're free. If you are quasi rich, they're still free. If you are loaded with cash, you can tip the guy handing you the free shirt!

Look, the Feds want to audit GSoM so we HAVE to get rid of everything. I'm talking about Warriors merchandise, hot (literally? NO!) Warriors memorabilia, and collectible signed Tony.psd posters. People call us crazy but you have a chance for all this ... and much much more.

4. Jumbotron
Ever been on TV? For something good? Thought so!

5. Exclusive Tickets

Great commercial, almost gives me goosebumps how well done that is.

I'd sign up for GSoM night but Opening Night is a part of my "King James Mini-plan", so I'll already be there. You better believe I'll be making some GSoM-status noise though.

BTW, this mini plan is ridiculous. Utah, Dallas, JRich's 'Cats, KG's Celtics, BronBron, Yao, Norcal rivals Sactown, Bargnani's Raptors in a true Italiano mano a mano matchup against BNelli... awesome.

Don't miss out on the group festivities ffgolden! Buy the GSOM Night 2 ticket plus some others for your friends (get the free GSOM Night t-shirt, get entered in the raffle), then go sell your opening night ticket for more than what you paid for it. I'm sure you can sell those tickets on craigslist for close to double the face value. If you don't, you'll miss out on a great night. I mean there will be 500+ GSOMers hanging out together.

I'll send Chris that question tomorrow. I don't know exactly when, but I think he told me the last week of September. If you think there might be problems with the delivery of them to you, just send him an email and I'm sure he can figure out a way to get them to you. (possibly pick them up at will call on the day of the game)

Basketball fanatics in Europe

Does anybody goes to Golden State Warriors vs. Zalgiris Kaunas?

Zalgiris Kaunas - is from basketball crazy country Lithuania. Last year was pretty bad for them, very poor performance in Euroleague.

Their supporters are one of the best in europe.
The best are Panathinaikos infamous Gate 13. Definetly check this video - these are best basketball supporters in Euroleague(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtQAJH_JoXM).

Tickets

Damn sorry about that. We were trying to keep costs low for everyone so we stayed with the cheaper seats. Only because the $30 seats sell out did we offer the $40 ones.

Next time, we'll see if we can get tickets on the corner so that we can offer both sets of tickets.
