Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

YouTube Tuesday: I Knew I Liked That Guy!!!

Hey c'mon now... I know it's easy to hate a guy like `Melo. He's rich. He's young. He rips our defense apart every time we play the Nuggets. He gets to play with A.I.

But seriously man... why all the hate? He's not so bad. He genuinely seems like a good guy! I mean, if there was an old lady standing on a street corner, I'm sure he'd help her cross the street! That's what good people do!

If `Melo was coming out of the grocery store and there was a group of girl scouts selling cookies, I bet he'd buy a few boxes. Even if all they had left were those crappy Trefoil cookies. Y'know, the shortbread ones completely devoid of chocolate anywhere on the cookie. Why do they even make those?! But I digress...

Most importantly, if `Melo saw a hardworking point guard that wasn't getting credit due, well, I believe that he would endorse him for the All-Star game. Even if that point guard wasn't on his team. Even if he played for the Warriors. Why?

That's just the kind of guy that `Melo is.

(Mad love to our girl MissGossip for conducting and sending us this interview. Also, mad jealousy that she gets to hang out with NBA players. But more the love thing.)

Screw...
...Carmelo Anthony. What do I need with Carmelo Anthony?

I Still Remember Madison Square Garden
Carmelo is a fantastic player who has the unique ability to score points as a basketball player.  But what I saw last game was someone who complains about every call and who does not do much defensively to help the Nuggets win.  I just do not see what he does to make his teammates better.

More importantly, its going to take a lot more than half a season to make me forget his actions at MSG that led to one of the longest suspensions in NBA history.

Carmelo tries to act like a thug but he fails to be a true warrior, say like Charles Oakley.

Nothing better than "The City".

Surprised that there is no love for AI, who is having a pretty good season as well

come on
He's representing for Baron when all-star voters (aka a lot of Warriors fans) aren't...how can you hate on him?

Still, Chris Bosh's is funnier.

then we will fight in the shade.

NO. NO. NO.
the day i saw him throw that sucker punch in NYC, i knew melo was officially 100% chump.  Jacking collins in the face while he's not looking , then running away ??  this dude deserves NO respect.  i don't care how sweet his jumper is.

Wanna Be
Mello is a straight up wanna be thug.  He talks like he had a stroke by talking out of one side of his mouth all slow and lazy eyed.  He is a total dirt bag who has no street cred at all and is the biggest loser EVER for what he did at the MSG.  What a chump!  Hey Mello, your little prima donna butt wouldn't last 2 minutes in south Bronx with your pedicures, manicures, facials, personal cooks, personal drivers and managers.  Good jump shot yes, good person eh?
