GSoM Night 4 - Get your tickets!

GSoM Night 4 T-shirt Design

GSoM Night 4 - Friday, March 21 vs Houston

As you all know, GSoM Night 4 vs Houston is rapidly approaching on March 21st, so we have just under 3 weeks to go. This game could have serious playoff implications if the standings remain as tight as they are right now. Even with Yao shelved, it's going to have a playoff-like atmosphere, something you won't want to miss.

We've got around 150 tickets remaining to be sold. Because of the popularity of the game and the Warriors, GSOM will only be able to pull in about 400 people. Thus the first 400 people will be guaranteed a free t-shirt.

Chris Murphy, the dynamic Warriors group ticket sales representative, is holding those remaining tickets for us. But with the game being so popular, he may not be able to reserve them much longer. Warriors management might just put them on sale to the general public. Order your tickets ASAP to make sure you get them.

Here's all the ordering information you need

Chris Murphy, Warriors group tickets sales representative, will take care of you. Follow these 2 simple instructions and you'll be on your way to getting your tickets.
  1. Download the form and fill it out.
  2. Email it to Chris ctmurphy@gs-warriors.com or fax it (510) 663-9192.

For more details and goodies on the night, hit the jump.

Actually
it'd be kind of interesting to see how he actually got a view of the game while sitting in the bathroom. Peephole? Mysterious toilet in the rafters of the Oracle? Noone knows....

if any of you guys have been paying attention Oracle Arena is sold out on Lower Level tickets to season ticket holders like me!
Ballin

by ballin on Mar 3, 2008 8:12 PM PST up reply actions

Nope
  1. The lowerbowl has been pretty much sold out all year long.
  2. Because of #1 it's impossible to get a bunch of seats together for the GSoM community.
  3. Lowerbowl seats would run around a minimum of $80+ per person (and upwards of the 100's) which is just exclusionary and not how we do things here for something that's intended to be an open community event.
  4. Remember the first GSoM Night was a $15 dollar festivity, but because of all the Warriors recent on court success and their never ending ticket price hikes (thank you bandwagoners!) it's now a $30-40 event (depending on how quickly you buy your tix and availability). We've tried our best to get the price as low as possible- trust me FJ and I know how to bargain- and work in a free t-shirt designed by Tony.psd, but produced and distributed by the Warriors at the event. (Big ups to Chris for that.)
  5. This isn't about the view. This is about chilling with your folks from GSoM and having a great time out. If that's not what you're looking for (and that's perfectly fine) you probably want to head on over to Ticketmaster of Stubhub.
Hey, The GSoM Crew has access to multiple lowerbowl season tix and sometimes sideline and lux box seats, but we forego those on these GSoM Nights to have a great time out with the community. I'll take chilling will all my folks in the nosebleeds over a pair of tix that cost bank anyday. I just don't get why people complain about the impossible lowerbowl seats for GSoM Night.

You know for all the work that goes into making these GSoM nights happen (mostly Chris Murphy from the Warriors side and Fantasy Junkie and Tony.psd on the GSoM side) you'd think people would appreciate.

I don't think people realize that this isn't a for-profit venture on our side. We've brought over 350 (I) + 950 (II) + 500 (III) members of the community out to have a good time over the course of these GSoM Nights and made a combined $0.00 (as with the rest of GSoM). Understand that we do this for fun. When it stops being fun for us we pull the plug on this whole show.

Hey notorious TOR...
If you want lower bowl tickets go get your own tickets and stop bitching. Try doing what FJ's been doing just to prep up these events. Think of the people I met who hung out way up the very top of the arena the last 2 GSoM Nights who are bigger Warrior Fans than some of you begging for lower bowl tickets. It's all about having fun, not complaining that your view sucks. There isn't one part of the Oracle I hate- every seats a good seat.

I'll be at GSoM Night 4... section 200 something row 17 with my family. Do you think any of us care where we sit in the arena? Tix are a f@#kin' rip-off these days.

Here's an idea... go start your own website and try getting 500 lower bowl tickets. Beggars can't be chosers.
