These guys put some D in the NBA [Fox Sports]

The always acerbic Charley Rosen is at it again with his list of the best defenders in the association. No Warriors were named. Not even a shout out to the WDWY!

State of the point

After watching the summer league games I have been torn on Curry. He is a very smart player, good defender and a deadly shooter when he is hot. But he also has very poor shot selection and I...

"Beef " players available

Larry Riley has said numerous time that he wants  "beef" and we need it bad. The only player we have who can bang inside is Rony Turiaf and he can't do it all on his own. We need someone who can...

Polling GSoM: Who was the worst defender on the 2008-2009 Golden State Warriors?

Smart Defense [Inside the Warriors]

2007-2008 NBA All-Defensive Teams Announced [NBA.com]

1st Team: Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Marcus Camby, Bruce Bowen, Tim Duncan 2nd Team: Shane Battier, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tayshaun Prince, Raja Bell Notice all of the above players are on playoff squads. Baron Davis received one vote (how?), but no other Warriors received any votes (deservedly so). Monta Ellis and even Kelenna Azubuike get ripped for their horrendous defense as they should, but Andris Biedrins has gotten a pass. He cannot man up too many players in the league and simply does not protect the rim. Biedrins and his 1.2 bpg scare no one. Don't miss GSoM friend Tim Kawakami's entertaining NBA No-Defense Team.
