Draft picks

Today there was the ties where broken for the NBA Draft 2007.
This will give Golden State the 18th pick in the draft. Golden State also gets the 36 or 37 pick from minnesota. We where dam lucky they decided to tank the last games.
At last, we get the 46th pick from New Jersey.
Golden State's 2nd round pick(49th) will go to Chicago. So we get 3 picks. 1 first round and 2 second round. We all know that we need a solid power forward, but we get 3 picks, and 3 power forwards seem to much to me. At what other position, other then power forward, we need extra help? Or just draft 3 power forwards and keep the best?

Can Golden State trade a picked player, and if so, wich pick should they trade?

My id for the mister X on the 4 spot

The 4 spot is now the most talked about. We all think we need an rebounding big forward.
But I was thinking who could be the one. Nene sounds  good to me. I think we al forgot that Denver's got another 4, Kenyon Martin. When Martin comes back (properbly next season) Nene is heading to the bench once again. He is to expensive for a bench player.
I think he can bring the power and the rebounding we need.

Any trade ideas?
J-rich? Harrington?
Post your trade idea in the comment

Living the Fantasy : FREE MONTA!

As you might know. Rick Kamla is a huge fan of Monta Ellis. So of cource he is upset with the benching of Monta for the last games. He thinks that Monta should get the start over Stephen Jackson. But, matter of fact, we won those games. It's very obvious that when a team is healthy, some players get less playing time.

Do you think Monta should get the start over Stephen Jackson? Here is the article: http://www.nba.com/fantasy/features/ltf_070308.html

Viva Las Vegas!

I really found this was very funny.
Espacially the all stars singing.
Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash are pretty good, but some of them are just crap. Yao Ming didn't even want to put up the Elvis hair.
This is one of the most funny video's of the All Star weekend I've seen
Check it out, it's hilarious.

A day of a warrior fan in Holland

Baumerworld pointed out a few days ago that I should make a post about being a warrior fan in Holland.
I went to my basketballtraining yesterday. My coach said to me that I was getting really better since I began playing basketball. Of course I was very proud my coach gave me that compliment. When I was home, I really had to lear for my Math an biology tests. But I decided to check out goldenstateofmind. When I started it up, I readed something about a trade. I was like: is this really? So I began reading the post, and I was like: I don't believe it, isn't this just a joke? Then I started up nba.com and there I saw the trade too. Then I knew the trade was real, and I began to post like a real freak. I just coudn't think at that point. I was so excited that I had to tell evrebody around me about the trade. But, my parents where like: what is Golden State? Did they made a trade? O, OK. My little brother is the only one in my house who knows something about basketball. This morning, I went to school to make my test, but when I wanted to talk about the trade, I suddenly realised that nobody on my school knows anything about basketball. They don't even know what a trade is. I'm a pretty lonely warrior fan in Holland. Holland is a country were basketball isn't popular at all. Right now there are two dutch players playing in the NBA. The best dutch basketball player ever? Rik Smits. Where did he play, yup, the Indiana Pacers.

FSN Bay Area on Youtube?

Hello guys from golden state of mind.

Like you may know im from Holland, so I can't see Warrior games except for the tape on nba.com.
But I was wondering, is it possible that you put the game on youtube?
After a week or so, you can delete the file, so that it doesn't cost that much bandwith.
Can you guys please think about it?
Thanks already,
Jacques

Hello Warriorfans

When I saw bigluvin post a diary to interduce himself, I would like to do that too.
So, Im a Warriorfan from Holland.
I didn't knew about the warriors, until 2 years ago.
That was when I started playing NBA Live.
I started a dynasty, with the Warriors:P
I started to search things on the internet about guys like Jason Richardson.
I started to follow the NBA.
A year later i discovered GSoM. I red the recaps and
I liked them. I liked the sence of humour you guys use. Then I dicided to become a member of GSoM. This is my first diary. I think i wouldn't make much diary's, because my english is not that good. It's hard to follow the warriors if you are overseas, but with your recaps I stay up to date.
Just wondering, who has posted the most on GSoM?
