Still lands in tha hands of Fate. 2008 Golden State.

I find it kind of odd how Friday morning (after Thursday night's loss to Denver) I woke up with that caca feeling in my stomach and right now ...I'm feeling great. After following the Houston vs. Denver game online and discovering the Nuggets have a huge advantage in taking the 8th spot for the playoffs, I didn't get that caca feeling.   Weird.   Maybe I am just ridiculous and have convinced myself to be ultimately positive about the Dubs? Maybe it just gave me more reason to root on the Warriors even more. Maybe it's because I've had "WE BELIEVE" permanently marked on my heart since I became an Eric Sleepy Floyd Fan. Maybe I should just stop saying "maybe" because I know for a fact that I still believe in the Warriors and no one on this planet could ever take that thought and spirit away from me.   At this point, I know the odds are highly favored for the Dubs to be eliminated from the Playoffs. Thanks for the knowledge that those "odds" are etched in stone. Realists abide by those odds. I won't. I think outside the box. I'm sorry, I'm just a knucklehead that don't ever give up in life and I sure won't give up on the Dubs until it is OFFICIALLY over.   The advancement in 2008 for Golden State still lands in the hands of fate. The Dubs just have to concentrate on winning these last two games and let everything else fall into place. So if the theme for the Dubs of "Don't stop believing" has disappeared, I'd like to start a new one that is basically a rhetorical question:   "You didn't stop believing, Right?" If you were a true Warriors Fan, no one has to tell you to "stop believing".   You been believin fool.   The Dubs are comin' thru. The Outcome is critical. Making the 2008 Playoffs is gonna take a miracle.   You guys didn't forget that God is a Warriors Fan. Right?   LETS-GO-PLAYOFFS!   [ CLAP,CLAP...CLAP-CLAP-CLAP ]   !!!   -chill.

A Mental Note to Warrior Fans attending the game tonight.

So yesterday morning, I was reminded how much of a Warrior freak I am. I couldn't believe I woke up depressed with that caca feeling in your stomach. I told myself, "oh my gorts, this is so lame. I'm not even depressed over a girl this time."

For every depression I encounter, I do whatever it takes to keep me busy and get my mind off of things. Work was busy but I also listen to KNBR all day so it didn't help. I was like, "wow...this caca feeling is still here."

I couldn't believe doubt took over me. I was disappointed in myself because I always have a positive mindset and outlook in life (especially with the dubs).

I also told myself, "if you lose hope on the dubs, you aint a true Warrior fan Romes." I'm glad I told myself that before I went to sleep last night, because I woke up fresh and I feel really CONFIDENT today.

If you Warrior fans went through this, I'm sorry but you are a Freak. You need mental help.

I found a temporary remedy for this though. Yell your lungs out for today's game whether you attend or are in front of a tube:

LETS-GO-PLAYOFFS!

CLAP,CLAP...CLAP-CLAP-CLAP

hey rayfromalemda...i read your blog and that song is stuck in my head. LOL. i was singing that in the bathroom when i took my morning e-hey. (e-hey eckwalls urine in tagalog) "Itsss nottt ovvvverrrrrr"

!!!

I listen to Fitz and Brooks too much. I blame fitz for this!

[ shakes fist ]

Let's chant that today ...Dubs Fans... from the very start of the game to the end of it.

Anyone else got suggestions for chants, I'm all for it to scream my lungs out for. I ain't down for blasphemy chants or anything that contains foul language though. Sorry.

[ PLACE YOUR SUGGESTED CHANTS BELOW ]

Thanks Warrior Freaks.

LETS GO WARRIORS still.

!!!

SO WHAT!!!

Big ups to that GSoMER who commented:

United we Stand. Divided we fall.

I would like to add this for yall.
You could take one game from us, but the next 3 games the dubs are taking ALLLLLLLLLL.

I chant that first line at the games sometimes because I got that from 2PAC's "LAST WORDZ".

Anyways. I'm done with this wall of text.

Thank you and goodbye.

Loss to Spurs should be a Message and Wake up Call

Not only was it disturbing for Warrior fans that do not have NBA League Pass to not be able to watch the game last night, but it was More disturbing to hear Tony Parker go 12-for-19 from the field to school Monta and C.J. Watson.

I'm sure Nellie and the Warriors know that in order to beat the Spurs, they have to somehow slow down Tim Dunc. (kind of tough to do since Timmy is an automatic double-double), slow down Ginobili, and most importantly they need to get into Tony Parker's head and Punk him.

As far as the Spurs backcourt goes, I think it is more realistic to stop them than slowing down Timmy. I know the dubs can't have their A-Game every single game on offense, but I think the dubs can always play tough defense.

Maybe Monta got discouraged with his offense that threw his focus off on defense, but C.J. shot well going 5-9 from the field and he shouldn't have an excuse to not play better Defense. (especially if he wants more minutes on the floor)

This goes back to my point that we really need the other Dubs other than the Big 3 to really step up their game for this final push of  8 games.

Steve Jack and Ellis combined to shoot 7-for-28. I wish the bench and others would use this as the best self-motivation to step up. Steve Jack and B.D. can't emphasize it to them anymore and they need to realize the Big 3 won't always have good games.

If the bench and the others REALLY cared about winning and advancing, they need to realize that THEY too are also part of this team to contribute.

I think we are going to be alright, but this has been my biggest complaint now since we are at a serious stretch. I don't want to use the excuse of, "This was an expected loss". I don't like to see the Dubs get blown out in any game and I don't care if it is the defending champs or a last place team. I usually take each game as game for game, but sometimes I also think about the possibilities of advancement to and in the post season.

I know the Non-Big 3 and bench have too much potential to not contribute effectively and consistently. I really BELIEVE we have the FIRE POWER to destroy any team in the NBA and I'm not backing down to that belief. I'm sure you folks agree whole-heartedly.

The Dubs have been pretty consistent with bouncing back after a tough loss, so I have moved on from it and am looking forward to tonight's game versus the Mav's.

What do you guys think?

Go WaRRIORS still.

We Only Got 12 games Left...

12 games left. Time for Roaracle fans to really explode & catch wreck. Exciting Unorthadox Play & massive dunk displays, only fuels the fans in the bay and natiowide across the way. But wassup with the halfcourt alleyoop to Monta? A pass from a veteran in B.D. that faultered when we had the lead in O.T.? Its like what the heck?  Idiotic Delany Mafia betting calls is what we need to ignore and forget. Warrior decisions on the court is what they seriously need to perfect. We are playing the last games neck to neck. With all 9 teams in the West playin at their best. You could play yo best but yo best aint The Best unless you put your heart & soul to the test like the Oakland Dubs pristinely reflect. Lets put these otha suckas in check. Let the one man fast break in the Mississippi bullet shake em and cankle break em... with the opposing teams' faces falling flat on the Roaracle Basketball Deck.

[kisses his gold cross necklace and points to Ann Barnes in the sky]

it gets spiritual now. consider it a spiritual high.

-2008 WARRIOR NBA CHAMPS still.

Great win Last night. Captain Jackson is the Man. Hilarious when Baron came up to him to clean off his shoulders as Steve Jack did to him when B D made that monster dunk on Kirelinko last year in the 2007 Playoffs. It was absolutely great. We still can’t truly celebrate until after tonight's game if we come out with another victory. We been believin’ though, right? One thing I wanted to mention. It’s awesome how there are so many Warrior fans attending their road games now. I love it. Hella Warrior jerseys in the front rows, but One thing that really disturbs me is when they start chanting "LETS GO WARRIORS" when they aint even at the Roaracle. To me it’s straight up disrespect. I don’t like it. Yes...you do have freedom of speech. Yes...you are a fan and you are entitled to support them any way you want. My big question to you fans who do this is...Where were you guys when the Warriors sucked back then? When we had Jason Caffey as our ESPN highlight dunks? Where were you guys when we had Todd Fuller? I didn’t hear you guys disrespecting other coliseums back then. Are you guys still gonna be disrespecting other coliseums in the future when we have another losing season? If so..Go ahead. Continue to do so. I ain’t with it. I could care less about going to other coliseums. My heart belongs in the Bay and the Roaracle Arena is the only place I wanna be to watch Warrior games. It just would really disappoint me even more if you guys were bandwagon fans doing this and all of a sudden disappear when we suck again. I hate it when Opposing Team fans come to Oakland and are louder than us. Have more respect for the Bay Area. My motto is stay committed to your team but also show some damn respect. We aint livin in a perfect world, but I wish you guys would keep the Lets Go Warrior chants in the Oakland Roaracle Arena where it's much needed and no where else. Every Warrior Player right now and any Warrior Broadcaster would tell you...they really appreciate Loud Warrior fans at the Oakland Roaracle coliseum and feed off of it. -2008 NBA WaRRIOR CHAMPIONS still.
