Is Maurice Evans gambling with Mully? and ...
could this lead to a Buike signing?
The Dubs have until Friday midnight to make a decision on Buike. if Evans waits until after the deadline, he stands to make a lot more cash (I think he is taking a major risk). Will the Dubs then say, "why pay Evans as much as Buike when we know for sure what we get with Buike?" or do they say NO to both then look elsewhere? Thoughts
Updated: Sorry Mo You Lose - Welcome back Buike!!!!!

Marcus Williams is coming (qouted)
July 22, 2008 Marcus Is Gone
By FRED KERBER
Well, so much for fighting for his job.
Point guard Marcus Williams, who recently vowed to fight for his minutes after the Nets acquired Keyon Dooling, is headed to Golden State for a future first round pick. The trade will be announced later today.
The pick is lottery protected for 2011 – so the Nets get it if the Warriors are in the playoffs. If it goes to 2012, the pick is protected 1-to-11. It’s protected 1-to-10 for 2013. If it is not conveyed by 2013, the Nets s\get second rounders in 2013 and 2015.
BTW, IT LOOKS OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL!!!!

Beating A Dead Horse (Not Barbaro) . . .
THE STARTING LINEUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY????????????
Why has this SENILE coach come up with his 25th different starting 5 of the season. Every game since the trade we have had a different starting 5. Why?
Why did an injured BD coming back into the game? If Monta didn't get hurt, BD probably would have stayed in?
Foyle did not start in the Cav game at home. The Warriors got off to a good start at home. So you go on the road and you bench Biedrins and start Foyle? But, you play him for 4 minutes, he plays well, then he sits until garbage time.
So I ask, HAS COACH NELLIE COMPLETELY LOST IT?!?!?!?!?!

Kick 'em While They're Up
(My 2 cents) ... Whether we won last night or not, there are severals areas of concern that need to be addressed:
- COACH NELLIE: 4 new players for 3 games have netted 3 different starting lineups (last night being the worst)... 2 cents ... whether the trade happened or not, Nellie has been 'f'ing with the line up all season. Nellie needs to pick 5 (I know JRich won't be ready for a while) that will start every game and play most of the 1st quarter (subbing for foul problems only) so that the players can gel in game situation and players know their roles. Its much easier on a person when one knows what one will be doing the next day (a player is prepared). And, STOP with the 2 PG crap - it ain't working!!!
- BD (I love this guy, most of this site seems to love JRich) has been crap the last 2-3 weeks. Whether it is family issue or not, his play has been very selfish lately. The Laker game be the worst. He kept challenging Kobe (7 times) and everytime came up empty. He has been shooting too much to be a successful PG and to make us successful.
- Monta! Monta! Monta! Yes, he made the 'shot' last night. BUT, (and most of this is Nellie's fault) is confused right now and that is forcing him to make bad decisions. He will be a very successful #2 guard in the NBA. HOWEVER, he will NEVER be a successful PG. WHY? He has too many skills to be a PG. These skills make him a selfish player (as a #2 guard it is required). Therefore, passing the ball is not his forte. And, forcing him to do so will only make him look bad and is lowering his confindence. Especially, now that we have Saurunas, he doesn't need to be a PG. Let him 'practice' in practice not in a real game.
- Mickael! Michael! MP! I'm confused. NO, he is. Can somebody find out what is going on inside HIS head?
PS, the final 5 on the court was my suggested starters. They had entensity both offensively and defensively in the closing minutes. It would be interesting to see what they could do to start a game!
Also, let's hope the new warriors can avoid their past. Win a good game against a decent opponent only to fall to a crappy team like the Bobcats.
"There is a thin line between confidence and cockiness" The W's have no reason to be cocky, but they play that way sometimes.
Go Warriors!!
The W's have had 23 different starting 5's in 43 games. Way too many!!!
Record When in the Starting Lineup:

Where's the D?
Don't be shocked by those points and the shooting percentage! This team is improving offensively and we certainly aren't defensively (mainly due to injury as it takes lots of practice with a core group to run an effective zone). While the 144 is a bit much even for us, the 109 against Houston is just a shocking (including 35 in the 4th). Perhaps the new coach has tapped into something - only time will tell. But, confidence will produce positive results for anybody. I just wish more of the Warriors had some.
Go Warriors!!!!
