Celtics sign POB
Boston signs POB to a 2-year deal. Not sure if this is real yet or not, but there's the link. Did they just really like his name?? I mean, what better name for a Celtic right?
Do you love this game?
For me, i could pretty much watch basketball 24/7/365. If it's a Warriors game then dammit that makes it 10x more important to me. I've found myself watching women's basketball and televised high school games if there were no NBA games on at the time. I've played pick-up games all my life... played in high school... played in local tourneys. I watch NBA-TV more than any other channel that it drives my wife bananas. I think it's safe to say that i love this game.
But recently i was on a non-sports related message board and a thread was started by someone excitedly announcing that the new NBA season has begun. To my surprise, roughly 80-90% of the replys in the thread were along the lines of "who cares?" and "F--- basketball, it's football season" and even "Basketball is boring. The NBA season is too long."
Damn! That's blasphemy in my eyes. Basketball is my number 1 favorite sport, with football coming in second, and all other sports virtually tying for last.
So, how much do you love this game? Where would you rank it in terms of your favorite sport?

Off-Topic: Pacquiao defeats Barrera
Pacman defeats Barrara in their 2nd meeting by unanimous decision. It wasn't really close. Who else out there is a Pacquiao fan?

Mavs considering Barnes?
Damn, that might be looked upon as treason from a Warrior fan's point of view. Just the mere suggestion of it shocked the hell out of me.
It's a small sentence, but i read it here:

The Real Warriors Curse
I figured it out.
When Don Nelson wears that black tshirt under his blazer the Warriors loose. Especially when he wears the black blazer with the black tshirt combo.
I challenge you to look it up. He wore it all through our losing streak near the end of the season, and when he switched it up the Warriors streak ended!
He needs to burn that outfit and especially the tshirt!

Need a new slogan
The "WE BELIEVE" slogan got us through Dallas and the first round, but by this time i don't think the fans or the team need to remind ourselves anymore that we believe. It's time for a new slogan... something that is more confident and less desperate sounding. Something that shows that we know that we belong here and we're coming to get ya.
What do you think about that?
Any Ideas for a new slogan??

Warrior's Tickets
I was wondering if my 1-year-old needs a separate ticket or if he's free admission to a Warrior's game??

Kings to allow Artest back on team
At the hastily called news conference to announce Artest would play Sunday against the Denver Nuggets, Artest promised to begin volunteering with domestic violence groups in Sacramento and said he would work to repair his personal life.
Damn, i wish they would let him skip the Nuggets game on Sunday first. I was hoping Sactown would drop games into oblivion without Artest in their line-up.

All-Star Dance Team
The NBA is putting together an All-star dance team for All-star weekend. It'll feature 1 dancer from each of the 30 NBA teams and the fans will vote who they will be.
Go here to vote:
http://www.nba.com/allstar2007/dance/
This isn't really a big deal to me, but i guess the only reason that i'm posting this is that they only give you 3 girls to choose from from each squad. And the thing that gets me the most is that my favorite Warrior girl SANAE is not included!!! Oh the injustice!!!

Even Jerry Stackhouse is currently #10!!
And look at the West voting for centers. Look at all those scrubs beating out Beidrins. Francisco Elson?? Chris Mihm??? Scrubs!!
Warriors getting no love this year.
