Changes Coming for BD, Dun, MP2, and Adonal

MT sat down with Don Nelson and uncovered some of the many changes Nellie has in store for Baron Davis, Mike Dunleavy, Mickael Pietrus, and Adonal Foyle. It's a good read that you should check out.

Nellie wants Baron Davis to play at shooting guard (which doesn't play to Baron's strengths as he's an excellent distributor and creator, but a poor shooter), Mike Dunleavy at the power forward spot (which seems like a bad idea), Mickael Pietrus in a shut-down defender role (which should be fun), and Adonal Foyle... well, he'll be reading about democracy on the pine (nice, smart guy, but he should never be playing more than 10 minutes a game).

Here's the players Nellie doesn't expect many changes for:

The transition will be easier for some players. Guard Jason Richardson could end up starting at small forward. Power forward Troy Murphy figures to spend most of his time at center, where power forward Ike Diogu will spend some time as well, according to Nelson. But they won't be called upon to do much more or different than they've done in the past. The same is true for guard Monta Ellis, backup center Andris Biedrins and recently signed guard Dajuan Wagner.

How do you think Baron Davis, Mike Dunleavy, Mickael Pietrus, and Adonal Foyle will respond this season to the changes Nellie wants them to make to their games? Success or struggle?
