OPEN THREAD: Game #15: Warriors vs. Spurs

Warriors (W-L): 8-6
Spurs (W-L): 11-3
Time: 7:30PM PST
TV: FSN Bay Area
Radio: KNBR 680

My oh my, this schedule is rough. Even though most of the games are at home, it seems like every opponent is top notch. We've faced Utah twice, the Nuggets twice, Detroit, Dallas, Phoenix, and now the Spurs. Those are some of the top teams in the league. But the Warriors have hung tough and are playing well despite all of the injuries. After losing 3 straight, the euphoria from the 5 game winning streak began to die down. But the win against Utah with essentially 6 guys really showed the league what the Warriors can do when they play their game.

The Spurs come to The Town tonight as a top 3 team in the league right now. As always, Duncan is playing great and will be a load for the Warrior bigs to handle. While Ginobili is questionable, they still have their usual cast of characters, Parker, Bowen, and some random international role players. What's Nellie going to do tonight to slow down the Spurs? Is he going to run that zone D the entire game again as he did against the Jazz? It'll be interesting to see how he decides to handle Duncan on the inside.

For the Warriors, don't expect to see Baron tonight as he's still injured. Monta, JRich, Barnes, Murphy, and Biedrins played heavy minutes on Saturday on the tail end of a back to back so hopefully they can bring the same intensity. Tonight will be tough, but the Warriors can win.

Vegas Odds: San Antonio by 4
Prediction: Warriors by 1
