OPEN THREAD: Game #17- Warriors vs Bucks

Warriors (W-L): 9-7

Bucks (W-L): 5-10

Time: 7:30PM PST

TV: FSN Bay Area

Radio: KNBR 680

If you like high scoring basketball games, tonight we've got a great game for you with the Dubs hosting the Milwaukee Bucks of the Leastern Conference. The Warriors are coming off a tough, tough loss against Mr. T (Al Harrington), Skeletor (Stephen Jackson), Jermaine Jackson (Jermaine O'Neal), Jim Carrey (Rick Carlisle), and the rest of the Indiana Pacers. In another shocking Warriors schedule revelation, the Dubs get to square off at home against another squad on the second of back to back games. The Bucks lost in a high scoring affair last night to the Suns 116-122.

It might be a good idea to try to stop this guy.

Say Hello to Michael Redd
The Warriors have struggled this season guarding 3 point shooters, especially off screens, and it could get ugly with this sweet shooting lefty in town. If the Warriors don't come up with a solid game plan and execute it against Redd, it's going to be a long night and a silly loss to a JV ballclub at home. On a side note, can you imagine how good Nellie's Warriors would be if they could swing a trade for Michael Redd? I would be shocked if the Bucks were open to trading him, but we can only dream about a Redd hot BoomRich Warriors squad.

Injury Update
After a "close shave" with the Romans, Monta Ellis should be fine and ready to ball up the Bucks tonight. Fresh off his near triple double Boom Dizzle should be good to go. JRich is a game time decision, but with the Bucks not being an "elite" Leastern Conference squad, count me in the camp that says he should sit out and rest his knee. If Jason rested tonight that would give him over 5 days of rest before the Warriors head down to San Antonio for a tough game (you can bet your last Cabarkapa that the Spurs are looking for some revenge after the shocking Warrior win last week). Ike Diogu is now able to run, so maybe he'll sneak in a few minutes tonight, although they should be fine without him.

Vegas Odds: Warriors by 8

Predictions:

  • Warriors by 10
  • Both teams will score in the 110's
  • Boom Dizzle gets 20+ points and 10+ assists
  • Michael Redd goes for 35+

Make sure to give us your predictions in the comments before tip off and post any comments you have during the game right here.

THROW UP A W!!

UPDATE: Warriors lose a close one (again) 110-115
