Recap: Warriors 109, Hornets 114

It's official. The streak continues. The Golden State Warriors have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Surprise, surprise. 12 years and counting.

This failure of a season can be traced back ot the coach but it also goes all the way to the top of the organization. We need that clown Chris Cohan to sell. Even though he's making money, he's extorting a fiercly loyal fan base that clings to the hope of a playoff team. He needs to sell because he's been a failure in terms of wins and losses. 12 years? I hope Chris the Clown feels some embarassment for being one of the worst owners in all of pro sports. Put together a winning team just once.

Now to the game. First off, I'd just like to say that Chris Paul is the man. Like the Warriors future owner, Ice Cube, he messed around and got a triple double. 17 points, 11 boards, 16 assists, and 6 steals.

How can a team that shoots nearly 49% from the field, 80% from the line, score 109 points still lose? Well they'd have to be wearing a Warriors logo on the front of their jersey. It also happens when you turn the ball over 17 times on 12 steals by the opposition. It is compounded by shooting 7-22 from 3. Oh and there's that thing called defense, maybe the Warriors should try it. But I'll give them credit, they were able to take the Hornets to overtime only to lose it off of poor defense.

Oh this is how they play defense. He's either got his eyes closed, or looking at Chris Paul's butt.

The Warriors certainly played well enough to win, they just couldn't pull it out and it was their defense that doomed them. That's not news to anybody though.

JRich with the extension.

My predictions were close. Prediction #1, Hornets win by 4, they win by 5. Prediction #2, Speedy goes for 16 points, 8 assists, 3 steals, he gets 21 points, 7 assists, 0steals. Not bad. Prediction #3, Ike gets 15+, hoping Monty gives him time. He recorded 9 points in 15 minutes. He would have scored the 15 points given 25 minutes.

Warrior Wonder: Mike Dunleavy. Scored 19 points on 7-14 shooting and contributed 6 boards, 5 assists, and only 1 turnover. JRich outscored him but also shot 8-21 and 3-9 from 3. Go Dunleavy!

Some funny pictures I found. Leave some funny captions to the pictures in the comments.

This is how they play streetball in France

I'm a pretty ballerina! Wheee!
