Special shout out to Baron Davis for participating in the Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference to help honor Hurricane Katrina heroes and improve African-American health care.

It's great to see people give back and Baron has consistently done that over the years. Earlier this summer Baron and Paul Pierce hosted "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" charity event, which they inherited from Magic Johnson.
This is how magic happens.
Also, props to Baron for the "Call for Help" orange wristbands (a definite GSoM Fashion HOT!) to raise funds for Hurricane Katrina relief and his $50,000 donation to the Red Cross last season. It's one thing to rack up nearly 9 assists a game, but it's another to assist millions of people.
A lot of great work has been done to help the strong people of New Orleans, but there's still a lot of work left. Make sure to pitch in!
