Tonight's the night! The Warriors have lost two games since the blockbuster trade. In the first loss the Dubs were short handed and put out a NBDL team against the Paper Clips and in the second Baron Davis was unavailable against the Cleveland LeBrons. Tonight against the LA Fakers in Staples is the first time Boom Dizzle, Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson, Sarunas Jasikevicius will be playing together. The Warriors were big winners in the 8 player trade with the Pacers and now it's time to start winning on the hardwood. Let's do this.

The Lakers will be without Lamar Odom aka the poor man's Scottie Pippen and Kwame Brown aka Joe Smith Part II (haha, think they regret that Caron Butler trade? Another nice job by Mitch Kupchak!), while the Warriors will be missing Jason Richardson and rookie Patrick O'Bryant (POB's jammin' again). This game presents a great opportunity for the Warriors to make up for the whoppin' the Kobe-less Lakers dished out on opening night in Oakland. Remember, the Bay > LA.

It's a new Warriors squad and you DO NOT want to miss it!

Vegas Odds: Lakers by 7 (as of 1:10pm PST)

Predictions:

  • Warriors by 3.
  • Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson get 20+ points each.
  • Baron Davis gets 10 dimes.
  • The Warriors "hold" Kobe Bryant to under 30 points.
  • Luke Walton shows us what Mike Dunleavy should have been with the Warriors.

Make sure to give us your predictions in the comments before tip off and post any comments you have during the game right here.

Last Saturday's game we set a record for open threads with 255 comments. Let's see if we can beat that record for tonight's game and keep GSoM rocking like the Oracle Arena!

THROW UP A W!!
