Baron Davis Targeting February 27th for Return

Here's the latest from Janny Hu over at SFGate.com:

Davis in town: Guard Baron Davis is feeling good enough following Tuesday's knee surgery to represent the Warriors during the league's annual All-Star Weekend meetings. Davis, who has an offseason home here, is said to be targeting the Feb. 27 game at Milwaukee for his return.

Not bad. Not bad at all. If BD can make a healthy return from his knee surgery on the 27th, if Jason Richardson is fully recovered from his broken hand and knee surgery, if Mickael Pietrus can recover from his ankle injury, and if no one else on the Warriors gets injured, we could be fielding this lineup for the final 25 games of the season:

PG: Baron Davis
SG: Jason Richardson
SF: Stephen Jackson
PF: Al Harrington
C: Andris Biedrins

Bench: Monta Ellis, Mickael Pietrus, Matt Barnes, Kelenna Azubuike, Adonal Foyle, Sarunas Jasikievicius, and maybe even Patrick O'Bryant

If Boom Dizzle can return to his All-Star level of this year, if JRich can return to his All-Star level of last year, if Action Jackson can find some consistency, if TMNHarrington can keep nailing 3's at a career best, if Andris can continue to crash the boards and swat shots, if Ellis to the Rim can keep blowing by defenders, if MP2 can crash the boards and nail those trifectas from the corner, if Barnes Baby! can keep that hustle up, if Kabuki can continue his solid play, if Citizen Foyle can play a few good minutes here and there, and if Sarunas can knock down some jumpers the Warriors could make a serious run at the playoffs for a possible 1st round matchup with the Dallas Mavericks. And from there it only gets better. Remember, We OWN the Mavericks!

Lot's of if's, but when you're a Warriors fan you have to cling onto something.

Look into your crystal ball- how do you see Davis' recovery from knee surgery and the rest of the season playing out?
