My apologies for the tardiness of this recap. I was in no mood nor capable to write this last night. It would have looked something like this ...
Confused? Exactly!
Man what an amazing game! The luck of St. Patrick's Day really came in handy for us and it was all from our leader ... Baron Davis. If you were out partying and didn't get a chance to see it, just scroll down and read the amazing commentary from our game thread. Watching the highlights doesn't give it justice, but lets just quickly recap what transpired the last minute of the game shall we? Since I was not able to witness the beauty of Baron's amazing last second game winning shot, I've decided to request the help of our GSoM community members who so eloquently put it. Enjoy the show:
With ten seconds remaining the Warriors tied the game but fouled Rashard Lewis on the very next play. He missed the first free throw but makes the second:

get a good inbound play for the win!!! - machinecog
With time running down we put the ball in Baron's hand. All warrior players screen to the side to give him room to attack the basket. You could see the Sonics wanted to double team him but Baron caught on early, double steps to the right catching the defenders committing and pulls a SWEET CROSSOVER to the left ... wide open for the shot with 2.3 seconds remaining ...
did i call it? - VonteegoCummings
baron with the cluth jumper! - goldenchild

WE WINNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WON ON THE ROAD!!!!! DOUBLE AH!!! - allthatjazz
It wasn't over though. Warriors lead by one with 2.3 seconds remaining but we needed the stop. As if he couldn't have been even more heroic, Baron does it on the other side of the court. He swings to the inbound pass, gets his hand in front of Wilkins and makes him miss as the buzzer sounded.
WHOOOOOOOOOOO! Huge CLUTCH shot by Baron and GREAT D giving the last shot to Damien Wilkins!!! Man... my throat hurts from yelling!!! - mightmadskillz
but I think this is a warriors team of destiny. - Skip
Do you feel the excitement from the fans? I sure do and I can't wait to see some of you this coming Friday. This is what it's all about.
UPDATE VIDEO: Thanks to Monta Monta for posting!
Man have I forgotten how good Baron is!! He's amazing and like Barnett said, it seems as though Baron's nickname as the "Boss" really has come true. It's no wonder that the Warriors can't win without Baron because when he plays they have an extra spring in their step.
What I also love the most is the camaraderie this team is showing. You could see it in the chest bumps at the end of the game, you can hear it from Barnett and the announcers, and you can feel the energy this team now brings since everyone is healthy. Just like in football, the team that gets hot at the end of the year, can do a lot of damage in the playoffs.
I agree ... these kids are legit!
Warriors are now in 8th spot and have won 6 of their last 7 all because Baron and the rest are healthy. We needed this win badly because our next five games are against Utah, Wiz, Lakers, Spurs, and Suns. With the Clippers half a game behind us it will be imperative to keep this momentum going.
Other highlights from the game came from Harrington with a nice 20 point night and Biedrins pulling down 18 boards. Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis from the Sonics had their usual 25 and 23 points, but our defense overall was able to hold the Sonics to only 41% shooting.
Do I really need to say who this is? Baron shot 50% for the night and ended with 19 points, 4 assists, 4 steals and two amazing plays on each end of the court to win the game for us.
