Game #4: Warriors @ Grizzlies - The Battle for .500!

We could be looking at the next Three Amigos for the Warriors

Warriors (W-L): 1-2
Grizzlies (W-L): 1-2
Time: 5:00 PM PST
TV: CSN
Radio: KNBR 1050

If you told me 2 weeks ago that we'd be sitting here at 1-2 without Ellis and Baron Davis, I would have said "Sounds about right". But after watching all three games I've come to appreciate the fact that we don't look that bad. In fact, with the last win against the Nets, I'm starting to believe we might have a shot at this folks. Then again, I've already started to drink as I write this preview and it's not even noon.

Bottom line, we lost our first two games by a small margin to some pretty good teams. We kept both games close and it seemed as though our young team couldn't put them away. But last Saturday we came back and beat the Nets on the road thanks to the dynamic trio of Jackson, Biedrins, and Maggette. All of them scored over 20 points and I'm hoping this could be a start of something big. Something better than the all time great comedy of the Three Amigos!

The Grizzlies also have a young team led by Rudy Gay and rookie O.J Mayo (two guys I wouldn't mind having on the Warriors). We should be able to win easily however those two could create some matchup problems on the offensive end and with Marc Gasol in the middle this could be an interesting game.

YaoButta’s Prediction:

  • Warriors win by 8
  • The Three Amigos each score over 15 points a piece.
  • Rudy Gay scores 25+ points
  • Al Harrington asks to be traded during half time. Nellie sits on him.

LET'S DO THIS WARRIORS!!!
