Despite our loss in New Orleans on Sunday morning, we were fortunate enough to witness Denver fall short on their matchup to the Sonics, keeping us tied for 8th place (technically 9th due to the regular season record) with matching win-loss records.

We were lucky. That may not be the case again.

It's time to find out what kind of team we really are. Will it be fortune that allows us our 2nd Playoff berth in two years? Or will it be us taking matters into our own hands?! Tonight we will truly see which path these Warriors are going to take.

JUMP!!!

We cannot rely on Denver losing anymore. Especially because while we are facing off against the Kings, a team that handed us a loss on March 18th, Denver will be facing off against the 23 and 54, completely eliminated from Playoff contention, Clippers. Translation? We have to assume a Denver win. In fact, it would be great if the Warriors just went ahead and made this assumption for the rest of the season.

...with the exception of this Thursday's game of course.

That being said, we should keep in mind that we ourselves are playing a team that is eliminated from Playoff contention. Given this fact, it should be interesting to see what kind of minute distribution the Kings give to their franchise players like Ron Ron and Martin. Hopefully they decide not to put their money players at injury risk and, as a result, show a little Northern California love to their boys in Oakland!

I suppose that would be too easy, wouldn't it? And if Warriors history has taught us anything, nothing comes easy. Nothing. The fight for the 8th spot in the West rages on!

EVERY. GAME. COUNTS.

Predictions

* Warriors win, Denver loses.
* Warriors win, Denver loses.
* Warriors win, Denver loses.
* Warriors win, Denver loses.
* Warriors by 8.

GSoM Fun Fact: After this recap, I will have written on every Kings game this season. Total coincidence.
