Ok, I get it. We're all little hyped up off of last night's victory. I still am. I still can't believe it.
I mean, I just finished the recap 5 seconds before starting this open thread.
RECAP: Warriors 111 Mavericks 103 - Wait..what just happened?
But let's be real...we've gotta a bigger challenge tonight.
Yahoo Preview
Ok so, last night was amazing - no doubt. We beat the Mavs with 6 players - 3 of which played all game.
But that's the problem. They're going to be tired. Back-to-back games with 8 active players is not a recipe for success. CJ Watson's flying in, but he's still recovering from the swine flu. Chris Hunter will probably see some time tonight as he was kept on the bench the whole game yesterday (...why? I have no idea.)
No matter. We always take the Spurs in San Antonio, right?
Since drafting Tim Duncan with the No. 1 overall pick in 1997, San Antonio has yet to lose to the Warriors at home, winning 22 in a row. Duncan has been on the floor for 21 of those victories, averaging 19.8 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots.
Ruh roh...guess not.
Ok well, at least we have some things to make us laugh!
R Dizzle's Predictions (notice the similarities from last night)
- Warriors by 2 - Coach Smart pulls in his first win! (Hey, it worked last night)
- Tim Duncan scores 30 points (just a quick switch)
- Monta Ellis comes down with a double-double
- Chris Hunter crashes down with 8 boards
- Anthony Morrow brings in 3 treys
GET WELL SOON COACH NELSON!
