BOOMSHAKALAKA! The Warriors vs. Suns never looked so good in 16-Bit!

Warriors (W-L): 23-42

Suns (W-L): 34-31

Tipoff: 6:00 PDT

TV: ESPN & CSN+

Radio: KNBR

It's good to be back doing Open Threads! (even though this is only my 4th one!) I'm also getting a treat because I'm attending the game tonight alongside my wife! The Warriors are coming off a 2 game win streak with the Phoenix Suns coming into town tonight. After Friday's incredible game, I hope the Warriors bring that same intensity they brought vs. Dallas. Monta Ellis had 29 points (and 11 rebounds), Stephen Jackson came with 31 points (and 10 assists) and just about every player next to them contributing big numbers!

As for The Phoenix Suns, they're desperate for wins right now in hopes of getting back into that playoff picture (34-31). After Phoenix's win over Oklahoma City on Saturday, The Suns are coming off a 5 game losing streak and are 5 and a half games behind Dallas for the 8th spot. Even without Amar’e Stoudemire, our W's are going to have their hands full with Shaq, Nash, Hill, Barbosa and J-Rich tonight. Don't forget to check out The Bright Side of the Sun for their perspective.

Also, The first 5,000 fans will receive a Warriors Slam Dunk Poster, courtesy of Kingsford Capital Management. Great for any office cubicle!

Predictions:

  • Warriors put out a 40+ first quarter (see pic above)
  • Monta Ellis finishes with at least 25 points and dish out at least 5 assists
  • Anthony Dunks over Shaq (Like he did over Yao, LOL)

I get my signs designs done before game time
