Merry Christmas to all! [ photo via]

Warriors (10-18) vs Trail Blazers (15-14)

Tip-Off: 7:30pm

Blog Buddy: Blazers Edge

JUMP for a look at what should be a wildly entertaining day around the association on this fine 25th December day!

Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks

Blog a Bull vs Posting and Toasting

9am PST on ESPN

It's great to see these two teams relevant again. Even though the Knicks didn't win a title, these two squads pretty much defined the NBA in the 90's.

Classic stuff.

  • Amare Stoudemire plays the role of John Starks and dunks on the entire Bulls team.
  • CJ Watson plays the role of Scottie Pippen and refuses to go in the game after a timeout because the play isn't designed for him.
  • Knicks by 5

Boston Celtics @ Orlando Magic

CelticsBlog vs Orlando Pinstriped Post

11:30am PST on ABC

This is NOT happening again... ever.

  • Shaq turns back the clock and puts up 15-10. Well okay he turns back the clock to 2008.
  • Gary St. Jean's super baaad backcourt duo of Gilbert Arenas and Jason Richardson give longtime Warriors fans a glimpse of what could have been.
  • Magic by 3

Miami Heat @ LA Lakers

Peninsula is Mightier vs Silver Screen and Roll

2pm PST on ABC

This one's going to be a snoozefest. I can't believe the NBA even scheduled this game on a marquee day. Is there anyone out there who even wants to watch this one?

Steady Hoopin'!

  • LeBron James gets booed.
  • Heat fans don't "Fan Up" enough.
  • Lakers by 7

Denver Nuggets @ Oklahoma City Thunder

5pm PST on ESPN

Denver Stiffs vs Welcome to Loud City

Oklahoma City on the national stage? Don't criticize.

  • The announcers spend half the game dreaming of Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios.
  • Kevin Durant shows why he's the MVP by 2012.
  • Thunder by 7.

And of course the premiere game of the day...

Portland Trail Blazers @ Golden State Warriors

The NBA saved the best for last. No doubt about it.

Okay seriously...

Of the 10 teams playing today the Warriors are the most likely (by far) to not make the spring dance. But of the 10 teams playing today the Warriors have the insanest fans around (second to the NY Knickerbockers).

Sure the Warriors aren't nearly as good as any of the other 9 teams playing today, but Warriors fans deserve this Xmas gift. Thank you Commish.

Don't quit your day jobs fellas.

The Warriors lost to these same Blazers in Portland just a week ago.

Here's The Matchups.

Here's some Linkage.

To tell you the truth that game was sloppy, boring, and bad. Let's hope tonight's game is much, much better. It's Xmas day and the whole hoops world is watching for crying out loud!

  • Stephen Curry goes for 25 points and 8 dimes.
  • Ekpe Udoh continues to impress with his hustle and heart.
  • The national commentators are amazed at how fabulous Warriors fans are.
  • Warriors by 3
